If anyone can get there hands on that Disk System, I would gladly buy it off them for NZ$500, NZ$600 if it has a box and manual. Also I have NX$30 for any info that leads me to getting it, even if it isn't working. Get in touch with me at windos_matrix@msn.com Thanks, Windos

There was a post on SMSpower about it a while back - it seems that a demo unit was shown at some mid-80's US trade show. Chances are, it's just a dummy case like the Sega Neptune proto, and not any kind of working unit.
NZ$500 is about £200, right? I think it's a pretty safe bet that if one of these did ever surface they would sell for far more than that.

Thanks, I already found some information on it, but that's good. I also found some info on an unreleased "drawing board?" Anyone know anything about that?

Yeah, mate - even if it was purely a display case, I'm sure it would attract much, much higher offers than that from serious collectors, for video game museums and the like.
How lovely it is to see just how adventurous SEGA was in the day ;D

I run a small Sega Museum here in my home (Small as in size, not content) and I am running on donations to get more in, just today I got a NZ$1000 donation from a visitor that does not want to identified. My current collecting is: 3x SMS1, 3x SMS2, 276x Games, just recently got a SC-3000H. Thanks to that last donation I now have NZ$1500 (US$1,023.18) for the disk system even if it is only a demo, plus postage and insurance and the like.

If anybody would like me to donate them money i can pay by cheque or paypal. Forget the gas/water/electric bills. Mortgage payment, house insurance, car tax/insurance,council tax,TV license,NTL/phone/internet bills. They can all wait.

Thanks, I already found some information on it, but that's good. I also found some info on an unreleased "drawing board?" Anyone know anything about that? A drawing board was releasing in Japan. I made some pictures a long time ago: www.smspower.org/museum/terebioekaki/

No, there is no entrance charge. Nor a charge to have play on a system. The fellow that donated the sum of money is loaded, he owns the company that my Father works for and several others. He said to consider it his repaying a favor.
