There was someone on here a week or two ago that was looking for one. I remember that I said mine had the back part of the insert cut off, but when I looked at it more closely, I noticed that it was simply FOLDED. Bummer, I purchased a new one previously because I thought it was cut. Damn. Anyway, if you're still here, let me know, I think you wanted my other extra games as well.

I'm sorry Stan. The internet has been down here at Pillsbury so I haven't been able to get in touch with you at all. Anyway, I was in a car accident a couple weeks ago so I'm not sure I can spare the money to be buying any games at the moment, but if you could hold onto to them a couple more months, I probably will have earned enough money to make an offer around Christmas break.

Actually, I'm a complete dickhead. I thought you disappeared so I sold the lot of them other than Columns, which I put up for auction. I could end this for you if you like because I feel terrible. Other than it, though, they weren't in the best of condition at all really.

There's no logical reason why you should have to hold to a game just because you know someone who's going to want it. You do what's best for you Stan.

No, actually that is the BEST reason why one should wait. I don't know why I did that man, I'm sorry. By the way, the 3D glasses for the Japanese Mark III work, but ONLY with the connector from the NTSC version, thus I would only be able to sell you the glasses without a connection thing, which is pointless. I'm going to end that auction for you. I do have some complete games left over, maybe you'd like them? They are Lemmings (plays fine even though it's PAL), Hangon/Astro Warrior, Teddy Boy (PAL cartridge format, plays fine), and The Newzealand Story (playable, but generally kind of scrambled because it's PAL).

People that end auctions early piss me off.

I appreciate your being willing to wait on me with the copy of Columns. I'll think about the other games (except Hang On/Astrowarrior which I have gotten since our last conversation), but I'm sure by December you'll have more duplicates to get rid of.

gameenjoyer, may I just ask how old you are? You write like someone out of a Kafka novella ;D PS: Is Pillsbury the birthplace of the doughboy?

Well, I'll hold on to them for you because now I already have a bidder. There wasn't one before I wrote that. Sorry. Damn, I feel like a spiderpig. Where do you guys get Kafka out of that?

Allow me to explain, Stan.
It seemed to me, from my own reading of the messages in which gameenjoyer communicated with you, that this was indeed a most peculiar and methodical way of speaking, whilst engaged in a conversation which many would consider better suited to a rather more informal - and dare I say it, colloquial - style of intercourse.
There is no logical reason why this should be so, given that the two of you are young Americans, living as we are in the year 2004 anno Domini.
It struck me that such a rather stilted confabulation happens often in the work of the aforementioned author, Franz Kafka. Why, it almost seemed ideally suited to a central scene in The Trial, such were the attempts at using precision and formality to put across the simplest of thoughts. It appeared to my eye somewhat concise and beurocratic, amost legalese.
I appreciate your being curious as to what I had been implying with such a comparison, but I merely wished to light-heartedly draw attention to a thing which I found quite funny. As regards to agreeing or disagreeing with said observation - You do what's best for you, Stan.
PS: May I please add that I am not looking to cause offence of any kind to anybody - in fact, I do believe I find it all peculiarly charming. ;D

None taken, I rather like my conversations referred to as Kafkaesque. Wait no I don't, that ruins it. Just refer to it as nothing.

"gameenjoyer, may I just ask how old you are?" (transbot)
Well, transbot, if you are that anxious to ask me how old I am, I guess America is a free country, and you have the right to do as you desire. *laughs* I'm just kidding. I'm 21, a junior in college, and yes, I have been told by many people that my speech patterns tend to have a higher level of formality to them than is traditional for people my age.
"You write like someone out of a Kafka novella" (transbot)
I honestly cannot give an educated response to this accusation, since I have never heard of Kafka, nor have I read any of his works.
"PS: Is Pillsbury the birthplace of the doughboy?" (transbot)
No, transbot, I believe you have my college confused with the baking company of the same name. Pillsbury Baptist Bible College has no current connection with them, and, in all actuality, never has in a formal sense, although the reason our college carries the Pillsbury name is that the founder of the aforementioned baking company made many substantial monetary donations to our college back when he was alive. From what I understand, people have suggested changing the name of our college away from that because of actions that the aforementioned company have taken since then, but for reason of tradition, such suggestions haven't been seriously considered.
