The North West Computer Museum is located just outside Manchester city centre. This is the first time we've used this venue but it seems ideal. We'll be given a room to set up our stuff and they are happy to stay open later than usual. There is a cafe within the Leigh Spinners Mill building but we can also arrange catering with the venue.

I'll be there with an SMS1 and 2 controllers. I can bring a CRT too but are they needed?

Thanks ian I was supposed to post here the other day that I secured the side room at the museum for the 5rh Aug. I’ve just been so crazy busy with work and family not had a spare minute! I emailed Joe at the museum to ask if he has spare CRT’s we can use. Anyway I will be there. Possibly my Dad too. I will bring a Mega SG and Master Everdrive. |

Joe at the museum said there is a potential the bar will be open which is next door in the mill, part of an independent cinema.

I think we're all completely childish, that would be awesome! My experience from the SMS Power competitions tells me that 1. It helps to have a single colour vector/high-res image for screen printing, full colour transfer shirts are crap 2. It helps to have someone willing to sort it out, I'm incredibly lazy Here's a link to an SMS Power thread where we came up with some decent enough art for a shirt (used with a bit of cropping), maybe reuse it? www.smspower.org/forums/6752-Sega8BitBasedSMSPowerTShirts?start=50#38746Alternative artwork in attachment... T-Shirt ideas my friend has come up with for us. Let me know your ideas, these are just concepts to begin with. Anything else you can think we should add? I'd probably change the word "Manchester" for Meet-Up for something, so it would say: Sega8Bit Forum Meet-Up 2023 I agree something like "Forum Meet-Up 2023" would be better over using "Manchester"  As for ideas, not sure I really have any  , I like these concepts though! Has it progressed any more since? |

2nd batch. This includes my own personal favourite (the middle one. Also in's all one colour so keep costs lower I'm guessing. Anyway let me know which you prefer I'd like to get them ordered if we all want one fairly soon as the meet is only 5 weeks away now. 4 5 6   |
