It's been a while but a new cheat has been found. I came across the existence of this cheat after some digging around but full credit goes to Maxim for confirming it.

Free movement mode
Pause the game and press R, U, 2, D, R, 1, 2, L, 1, R, D.
Now during gameplay you can hold both buttons together to freely move your player around.

Is the game paused while you move freely?
I mean can you complete a level by "flying" over enemies?

No, the game isn't paused, so you can fly about to complete levels.
