Hi everyone, got two requests. Probably won't go through, but figured I'd ask.
1. Back in probably the late 80's there was this video game book which had a combination of Sega Master and NES games with tips and stuff (don't remember), Sega Master System first and then the NES. The only games I remember was Double Dragon (Master) and one of the Mario games, maybe the first two, again don't remember. Does anyone know the title and author of this book and maybe where to find it?
2. Believe it or not I never played the SMS back in the day. Figured it would be fun to try would anyone know where to purchase one along with a suggestion of a few good games (do they have any good roleplaying games)? Again probably not, but figured it was worth asking.
EDIT: I just remembered Alex Kidd, Kid Chameleon, Wonderboy, or Altered Beast might be in the SMS section, will that will help?

Not sure about the book, RPG There are a few. "Phantasy Star" is the best on the SMS (my opinion) Also "Y's the vanished omens" and "Golvellius". Also try "Golden Axe Warrior".

No problem, it seems noone seems to know about it. As for the games, thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately I don't have an SMS system to play them which I was inquiring about it.

Do you think this was a freebie with a games mag e.g. Mean Machines - or separately produced?

I think it was a book that you bought, don't think it came with anything.
