Obviously there are more releases from europe so i take it these can be included as can the usa exclusives?

I think we should start at 86 and put anything made prior to this in the same group. Just to give whoever is choosing a little more choice. Good point. I think the 1985 column is for Japanese games only so any games in that year that were also released in the west would be duplicated in 1986 meaning we can completely ignore 1985. |

I'm going to assume the everyone will be okay with this and go with this idea until something better comes to light. Let's give it until midnight tonight (Eastern Standard Time - Since I'm here at the center of the universe  ) to see if anyone else wants to join in. Tomorrow I'll pull all names from a hat and away we'll go. Anyone that signs up after that point will be added in order of sign up to the bottom of the list. Sound good? edit: LOL! don't be nervous if you're first. Check out how some off the other (older) intro posts and discussions went and you get a good idea of what to do. We're an adult community here and there will be no judging, everyone has their own style and I look forward to the discussions as much if not more then the actual game play. |

Count me in! I appreciate any opportunity to get deeper into a game than just skimming them. I have a modest collection, an Everdrive, and if it happens to be a PAL game that glitches on an NTSC console, I'm fine with emulation.

It's very easy to set mods for a section of the board. I would love to participate, but it depends largely, for me, on how much time my daughter will spend sitting to watch me play. She's at an age where she enjoys and asks to watch old games, but she only has so much attention before she wants to do something else. I would, however, suggest sending Ian an PM directly because he has complete control of the site behind the scenes now. I can't login anymore because he decided to restrict it to himself to avoid any potential hacking, we had trouble with that one year.

I'll join in, I'm hoping to do a bit more playing in 2017 and this will perhaps motivate me to discover some new titles. I'd vote for free rein to pick any game though, rather than being tied to a year.

You definitely don't need moderator permission for something like this. I'm happy for anyone to organise a new game club and get more discussion going on the games. The reason I love the system so much is because of the great library of games and hidden gems to be uncovered.
I'll make this thread a sticky. Put me down on the list as well!
Let me know if there's anything else I can do.

1. as I'm relatively new here, I never was in the old club, so I have no idea what's going on here
2. with very humble "collection" and no everdrive, I'll only be able to join with emulator
