Had a very enjoyable day, thank you all for arranging it. I came 7th out of 8 in the comp but i'm sure with a small amount of practice I could have done much better. Have you got home yet playgeneration ?! Did you get the car sorted flatapex ?? I didnt take many photos, as usual, but here are a couple.. 1 of which is very similar to Mikes above.

I did thanks rupert, once we got the breakdown number which was buried away on a pdf somewhere, they arrived within half an hour and had us going again in 10 minutes.

:-) Got home before midnight, fuelled by KFC and chocolate. Happy with my 3rd place, mostly down to lucky favorable conditions for arrow throwing I expect. Enjoyed the day, thanks for organising, bringing the consoles and TV's and of course yourselves!

It was great to finally put faces to the names and everyone was very friendly and welcoming, the time just flew by. I'll definitely be attending next years event and would urge anyone thinking of coming along to do so irrespective of gaming ability (I came last but wasn't ridiculed too much, lol) Hope to see you all in 2017!

Great to see everyone, old faces and new. I had a great day as usual, it just always goes by too quickly. Unfortunately I was in such a rush in the morning I forgot to bring my video camera, so I didn't get any video footage of the day. Thanks for posting the obligatory group photo though, just a shame Phil wasn't able to be in it.
I eventually got home at around 11.30pm. It's always a long day for me but it's worth it. The only negative of the day was having to listen to that Speedy Gonzales boss music!

Despite being about half an hour late by my own timetable (manchester was one huge traffic jam) and my car breaking down outside the venue, I am glad I made a point of organising this. A decent number of regulars and I think its fair to say that Kev is a top bloke too. Overwhelming theme for me was that we all came away with ideas of what games we wanted to devote more time to that we had previously overlooked (in my case it has to be olympic gold and also a new found respect for alex kidd in miracle world due to playgeneration making an awesome competition level) I'm glad the site traditions keep on going like this, plus I managed 6th place, which hopefully means by my current rate of progress I will finally lift the trophy when I am 55.
