Am I right in saying that the cover art from the SMS version of Street Fighter 2 is unique for the Master System?

My selections for Group K: Air Rescue - The initial impression is one of pure excitement and exhilaration, as the sheer danger and insanity of the theme is shown. Closer inspection is rewarded with incredible detail: tattered clothes, muddied shoes, every single twist of the ladder's ropes, every bolt in the helicopter, the pilot's foot pedals, it just goes on and on. Here's a higher resolution scan: segaretro.org/images/b/b2/AirRescue_SMS_EU_Box.jpgDead Angle - Dynamic, colorful yet moody, the linework, jutting streaks of headlights, perspective and curving backgrounds bring a uniquely contemporary feeling to this period piece. The Cyber Shinobi - the limited color palette and relatively minimal composition could work well for a game these days. How many poor, unsuspecting children were taken in by this great box art? Honorable mentions: Rampage - ain't no shame in using the original manufacturer's awesome promo art... but the U.S. version is better as Lizzie's face isn't obscured by the logo. Land of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse - nice, exciting perspective that provides a broad overview of the world... could use some more detail in the landscape, though. Thunder Blade - gathers up the lingering Miami Vice color-palette for one last blast of plasma-like explosions.

Geraldinho I presume is the Brazilian Teddy Boy. What the hell is the cover about? I'm not totally sure but for originality I love it, even if it seems to bare little resemblance to the game. Unfortunately seems I'm currently in a small minority of 1!

Unfortunately seems I'm currently in a small minority of 1! It's a Brazilian comic character. They altered the game slightly to have it revolve around him, that's just his name. Apparently the original series was for adults, so this was a kid-safe version.

Found it on Youtube, even though I can't understand a word it's certainly pretty mental! Geraldinho Youtube

Cyber Shinobi: they should've used fmale-thingies in more covers Mortal Kombat II: MK logo, now with lightning Rampage: cartoony as the game
Almost voted: Land of Illusion

My choices for this group were The Cyber Shinobi, Land of Illusion and Outrun Europa.
The Cyber Shinobi cover just looks really cool in my opinion.
Land of Illusion captures the feel of the game well and looks a fun and exciting game, which it is!
Outrun Europa has my 3 favourite 80's super cars - countach, F40 and 959.
I nearly went with Air Rescue, great cover with lots of detail as Centrale pointed out. I also like the art style of Dead Angle.
That James Pond cover could have been so much better for such a colourful game.

Thunderblade, its quite reminiscent of Tron Rampage - Captures the spirit of the game perfectly Outrun Europa - Spoiler alert! here is everything you'll do in the game in one picture

Air Rescue - Was my choice but centrale pointed out thing i never even noted before. Awesome! Land of Illusion - The Disney Covers were always really good and this one captures the excitement of the game Street Fighter 2 - I imagine Bison doing an awesome slide over the crate to deliver his drop kick
