I recently bought a modded console from ebay (sms 2) to use with a scart lead in the living room. It works great, good picture etc anyway last night I thought id switch it to 60hz to see what its like and no difference at all.
Am I missing something? Do you have to alter something on your tv or is it just not working? I tried a few games, alex kidd in mw, fantasy zone etc and nothing.
My tv‘s a 55" lcd LG 3d tv.

It may well be a broken modification. It's pretty tricky in a sms2 as you basically have to detach a very flimsy chip pin and attach a switch to it. If it's snapped off then your stuck in whatever hz it is.

I had exactly the same problem, turned out it had a 3 way switch and I didn't slide it in th right direction.
