This is something I've been thinking about lately. I've known and loved the MD since I was a kid and, as with most kids, the Mega CD was something that was well out of reach at the time but there was always a part of me that wanted to play Sonic CD, experience the driving scenes in Batman Returns or enjoy the FMV in Night Trap.
So far, my only experience of Sonic CD is on the Sonic Gems Collection and the FMV cut scenes in Sonic Jam. How much difference is there between the emulation and the real thing?
I would also be interested to hear about people's experience with the MCD and whether you think it's a worthwhile investment or not.

I have mcd and a few games I have played sonic cd on the ps2 and on a mcd and emulated it too.
In all cases real hardware is hard tobeat but the ps2 isnt far behind
There are some great games on the megacd like snatcher, eternal champions, and ground zero texas even terminator is good as thunderhawk too. I like my system but to think I paid £250 for it is expensive
With 32x I think some good programing could be done like a new version of doom2/1 or even heteric or maybe even duke nukem.
Other games I like are roadrash and demolition man.
Like I say there are good games but I try and emulate first to try them out n make sure its what you want.
