He obviously didnt bother doing any research before writing that. The magazine would have been better off asking someone on here to write the article rather than paying some lazy uninformed professional journalist.

Its strange, I used to consider EGM to be one of the better video game magazines. Seems standards have fallen!

Ok, I read it, I just think the guy clearly doesn't have a clue! But did you see the line right at the start - "bias - definately!", so I think that says it all!!!

I didn't think it was that bad. Definitely not great, though. And what the hell is a "MyCard"?!? I've never heard that term for Sega Cards before.

I like that the games to remember didnt include Alex Kidd, obviously theyd never player a SMS + Im more than 90% sure that the SMS outshone the NES here in Blighty.

My Cards are what the card games were called in Japan Ah, OK thanks! Is this a Japanese-based write-up? The pic of the system at the top looks Japanese. Or was the writer just lazy and took whatever pics and info he could quickly find?

It says the SMS was a failure everywhere else apart from Brazil? What about the UK, it was extremely successful, the only person I knew who had a NES, also had an SMS, everyone I knew had an SMS and all the time when im out looking for games, you see SMS everwhere and hardly a NES in sight!!!

Yeah that is a jap console in the picture, i guess they were just being lazy using that too. The whole article covers the American side of things, hence the reference that Sonic was one of the last games, and the constant mentioning of Nes.

If you look at the guys page, all his pictures are NES related, and all he does is go on and on about NES games like Megaman, I cant think of a worse person to write an article on the SMS than a NES fanboy!

Oh the guy is an NES fan? I change my mind; the article sucks, since it was written by a sub-human ;D (all in fun, NES fans... )
