[8Bit-Tournament] How should we settle a draw?

As you might have seen, the Wonder Boy in Monster Land vs. Land of Illusion poll is heading for a draw. But we have different opinions of how to settle this. What do you think we should do in this and future cases if it happens again?

Personally I like the inclusion rather than the exclusion, but I understand that neither of the 3 options is a perfect one. But of the 3, to let both advance seems like the best thing to do IMO. Though as meu2 pointed out, it could create problems in future rounds with less odds of advancing in a 3 option poll. Still think it's the best option seeing as the game will advance or be eliminated on "it's own merits" rather than on chance in a coin flip or semi-luck in a time sensitive poll.

Let both advance because there's the chance of having an extra round in the next round.

Or weigh it up - 3 games in each round next time around maybe? A 24 hour re-poll is about as fair as a coin toss!

I think I've made opinion known on this before, but as it's a knockout tournament at least one of them should be knocked out. The alternatives may seem cruel, but thats what tournames are like (e.g. penalty shoot outs).

I agree and as i have said before there is always that slim chance that if both are let through the same two games could always pair up again at the end or something so i think at least one needs to go.
The 24hr re-poll does of course the same thing by restarting the same process but would the shorter poll time make any difference especially if exactly the same people consider vote the same way?-probably not but there is always the chance someone might not be arsed to revote,not know about or notice the new re-poll or even might change their mind so i think it is the better option.
