Hey, boys! ;D I may know some people here from SMS Power, the late Dreamcast History and even from Sega-Brasil (where I'm most active ). I used to take a look here always when I had the chance, but only now decided to join. I'm a 1978 guy from São Paulo, Brazil (nobody's perfect) and own the following systems: - SMS - MD - PS2 - XBox 360 However, I'm not a collector. I also had a PS3, but it died of red screen... incredible as a 2-y.o. console gets broken from nothing! I still have the Master System my parents gave me back in 1989 and it's working! Anyway, I've promised that I'll never buy from $ony again (a new PS3 down here costs around US$700 or so). Anyway... promises are to be broken and I'm still feeling like a X360 whore. My favourite character / game is Sonic. Psycho Fox is cool too, but I've never finished it. I've already had 354684321305462 Phantasy Star games in my life: I play a bit, die, sell; play, die, sell... Some other hobbies: travelling (when I'm on vacation / have cash) and writing (I'm an independent writer and hope to get rich with it some day). ;D cheers

Thanks. Well, I didn't know that the PS3 had its own version of the "3RL"... anyway, my 360 is the slim; I hope it's more reliable than the fat. cheers

Welcome! And I agree with meu2, that surprises me that the PS3 died first. Did you have a warranty that covered that? On a different subject, i'm surprised that you are able to just sell your games like that without giving it a second though. I can probably do the same when it comes to current gen consoles like the 360, I have no problems selling my 360 games, but when it comes to older games and especially my original SMS games I could never sell them. To much nostalgia especially knowing it's the same copy I had as a kid. But maybe you didn't have a choice or you just aren't like that with stuff

Welcome! And I agree with meu2, that surprises me that the PS3 died first. Did you have a warranty that covered that? Unfortunately not. The warranty expired on the 1/Jan/2011. But maybe you didn't have a choice or you just aren't like that with stuff I was so angry, that I didn't consider a second thought, hehhe ;D ;D The only thing I couldn't sell was my Uncharted 2 LE. As I bought ir in Austria, it also works as a souvenir, hehehe... But talking about nostalgia, the only games I don't sell are the ones my parents gave me when I was a kid. No way to get rid of. cheers

Unfortunately not. The warranty expired on the 1/Jan/2011. Isn't that always the case! Things always seem to die just outside of the warranty period.

Ah, good that you don't sell your old games you got as a kid from your parents And it's comical how stuff break just after the warrenty expires, both my cable modem and my old 360 died just a couple months after the warrenty ended. The conspiracist in me thinks they have done this on purpose.
