There are pirate carts, which have a different cart style with bigger label: www.smspower.org/misc/sms_pirate_cartridge_M202-01.jpgAs far as I know these pirate carts just contained regular releases, and there aren't any new or unlicensed games on them. They are cool though, but it would have been interesting to see some Korean style carts with loads of MSX hacks or original games on too.

Is that all that exists on this stuff? Even if its X in 1 carts, I'd still like to know what was out there.

We have a thread over at Sega-Brasil which tries to consolidate our efforts on finding them, although some of the pics came from elsewhere (even from here). The content is in Portuguese, of course, but there are several pictures among the posts which are interesting enough: www.sega-brasil.com.br/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=427

Thanks for the link. I've been slowly teaching myself Portuguese lately as I've been conversing with a few new friends in Brazil and have a nice package coming my way with some Tec Toy SMS games and he said he found a pirate cartridge which he is throwing in which piqued my curiosity and why I started this thread.

Thus far, only major titles have been found. I've seen that Sonic before. I've also seen a Sonic 1 and a pirate of what I seem to remember was The Lucky Dime Caper. Where's your town at there man? We should play sometime. I really want to do a US gettogether, but everyone seemed to lose interest after a little while.

That famous World Cup in Italin (Tallinn?) in 1992! Seriously, Brazilians messing up something football related should be considered a crime

The 92 World Cup in Tallinn was good, but it wasn't a patch on the 93 World Cup in Tecmo

I live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania... On the East Coast, and I'm about 4-5 hours from NYC and 3-4 hours opposite direction to beach areas. I'm interested in a meetup.

Oh yeah, don't you have like that Amish theme park there? yeah, yeah. it's not interesting when you live side-by-side with these people. I find it funny people travel from germany and other parts of the world to see this.
