Yesterday I got in the post a US Spy Vs Spy card that I bought from Retrobob: But today I just realized, its not the US one at all, as that features the same artwork as the cart release elsewhere: www.smspower.org/Scans/SpyVsSpy-SMS-US-CartridgeThe back of the insert I have is just in English, as is the manual. The normal Euro card version is multi-lingual, and I already had that. So is this a known release? Australian perhaps? The back of the manual it has printed "Made in Lapan", not sure where that is And now I still need the US version

Yes, it's the Australian version.

I was wondering if I had stumbled across something unique, but an Australian release is still cool to have. How many English only (but not US) card games are there?

I have 4 of them including Hang On. My collection is in storage and I can't remember which they are, sorry - My Hero was one of them I'm 99% sure.

I'll post my full list of card variations in the next day or two once I've tidied it up a bit. I think it's up to about 45-50 different variations now...

According to me it's not an australian card but an english one. I think most of the european cards had a special english release (as there were german and italian cards). I picked up 3 of them recently: They are quite difficult to spot because they have almost the same shape than the US cards.
