It seems most copies of this game I see are apparently water damaged. I've just got another copy to replace mine which has water damage, and even this replacement is a bit crinkly, but at least not stained.
So out of interest who else has this game with a wrinkly water damaged cover?

I remember my spare copy to have some water damage to the cover as well... My own copy is in mint condition.

I used to be a video game market trader sometimes doing the odd outdoor venue and occasionally i would get caught by a rain shower, you know its pretty amazing how tight the box inlays for Master System/Megadrive games are held in place when the box is shut but i can assure some how water does get in at the corners and if you do not notice the inlay does go crinkly and it is pretty much irreversible. (Doh!)

Mine hasn't any water damage although the hanging tab is missing . Apart from that it's in great condition.

Maybe the previous owners of the game wanted to put out the fire (and forget) with water...
