Like i say last week, today more pictures of the game. In first time if i bought a copy of Street Of Rage normal on ebay it's for the manual only, because my old normal copy have: If i bought cardigdes for my printer it's for print text, i use one cardidge every 4 months, normaly i pay 29e in a shop in my city just for the black cardidge, and this time i bought 20e on ebay for the black cardidge and the color cardidge, but i can't print good covers with my printer, it's very old, i will try tonight and show you a fake of SOR Classic and you will see the difference... And here more pictures of the originaly game (one of the 3 copy found at Lyon):

Thanks for taking the time to share more photos, revo.
Could you perhaps take a photograph of the insert when it's not in the case? It looks kind of blurry - especially the back. That could be due to the textured nature of the plastic cover, though, which is why it'd be great to see it without the box. Especially the back of the insert.

Just show us the scan. Not like anybody here is going to sink that low as to make a fake copy of it. Clear and simple. Easy for you and good for us to see and even good for your "portefeuille" as for the bids on the game would go.

The 'OF RAGE' part of the spine logo should be white, no way it would be brown, surely?
I'm not posting in this thread again, I'm starting to feel like a hatemonger...

That would actually make me believe that it's NOT a fake. Why put more effort in changing the logo instead of just making it smaller and turn it? Hey, hear is a thought: why not make a vid of it so we can maybe see you handle the cover and hear the sound the cover makes? (or ship it to Brussels and I'll send it back with a authenticity certificate)

privatejoker: you've not been here for long, a scan posted on the forum means fake copies on ebay next week either from dojars or any retroboy doppleganger if revo wants to come at my parent's house in Lyon, I will be happy to set an appointment and check his copies.

I've tried to keep an open mind until now, but this is definitely a fake, and a lazy one too. Thanks for the photos, they have confirmed it. As well as all the other reasons pointed out in previous posts (the non-matching logos, the cut edge on the bottom, the suspicious story of suddenly having two spare copies, the seller having just bought a copy of SOR and some new ink cartridges, etc.), I'd like to throw these glaring mistakes into the ring: 1. Look at every other "classics" release - the box text on the back is justified (by this, I mean the right-hand side of the text should be aligned vertically). In these photos you can see the box test is not aligned, and in one case even touches the screenshot.
2. The product code on the spine makes no sense. The -55 suffix does not exist in SMS numbering, and 7120 refers to The Ottifants.
3. The barcode is wrong - all other "classics" start 5-012967-992..., while this has 5-012967-999.... The 9 has simply been lazily copied over, and the rest of the barcode is exactly the same as the "classics" release of The Ottifants (clearly the template upon which this fake was created).Nice try, but I think you've been rumbled.

Nice work Barney. That's damning evidence right there... fake.
