Nice try, but I think you've been rumbled. Actualy you say maybe true for the barcode... But it's not a fake, i can see a fake if i have one in my hands, and with this quality of paper it's can't be a fake, it's exactly the same quality of paper of other game on master system; and if it's a fake why the seller sell me the copy for 5 euro?

Yeah man, I'm about ready to ask you to never come back here again, ban your name, and block your IP. This is the last thing I wanted to start seeing here and we've been free of it forever. Thanksfully, we have knowledgeable folks that can see right through it with clear facts. I thought there was something wrong with this when I first saw it, but all the evidence was necessary to prove it, which has been done. No more discussion on this, revo, you're a liar or got sold a fake that someone else make, though I doubt the latter is true. Everyone else, feel free to bash and discuss further.

I've been looking for an excuse to write another article too, been awhile and I have two in there. This would be a good one.

This game was so unlikely to exist, its no surprise people thought it wasn't real, especially since it was found by someone previously uknown (on this forum anyway).
The more I see of the insert, the less convincing it looks. To add to what others have said, the product code on the spine looks way too bold. And the edge of the insert looks very white in those photos, as if its thicker paper. Pick up any classics sms game and see how white the edge of the paper looks.
I think the best thing for you to do Revo, is to take up Kenneth on his offer of inspecting the games. Or if there is another well known collector near you that can do it.
If you do scan it, I would be happy to check it out and wouldn't spread the image further if you sent the file privately. I'm sure other trusted members here would be able to do the same if you wanted.

Barney really destroyed this one. I'd like to think he got some of his info from being around here and using our database. Really killed it with all the data he spewed out. Excellent stuff. Makes for a good read. I've been sick with pneumonia apparently (didn't go to the doctor so not sure what it was really) and came back to see this awesomeness had taken place. Last time I was here it was just starting and I had my doubts, but I kept it quiet at the time.

Great detective work, barney. :)
I'm now with the rest of you guys; this is definitely from Fake City. A shame, but not entirely surprising.

Great work Barney. I think it’s safe to say you have definitively debunked this one. I personally had the same initial opinion as ninjabearhug, i.e. I knew there would be some story resulting in a spare copy for sale. I’m still relatively new here so I decided to keep my opinions to myself on this one, but it seems to me that the logical thing to do if you uncover a new item is to seek confirmation within the collecting community. I’m sure there are plenty of people here that you could privately send a scan or even the item itself. The upshot of this is that you would have the full support of the collecting community, which would undoubtedly help your auction if you did decide to sell. Still it has certainly made for some interesting reading

It's a team effort, there were many good points raised before I got involved. I only spoke up once it was beyond reasonable doubt in my mind that this was not genuine. We're a collecting community, and I don't want to see anybody here dropping a load of cash on a fake. I don't want to sound patronising - there are many collectors around here with far more experience and knowledge than myself - but I think this serves as a good lesson to some of the newer collectors. The warning flags were flying very early on and while this would have been a fair punt as a £20 buy-it-now, it was never going to be worth risking big bucks given the circumstances. Happy to discuss any of the points I've raised (openly or via PM) if anyone wants clarification.

It's easy to say it's fake when it's a rare game, don't worry for me the variante of Sonic and Batman are fake too I presume he meant the SMS2 Batman (again)... Very quick to point the finger at others being fake. I'd be happy to drive over to see ninjabearhug (not too far away) and put this one to rest if needs be. But more importantly (I'm late to the thread)... Fantastic work Barney, a little too good if anything

Fascinating read, guys. Lots of sleuths in this thread. We've gotten to such a mature level in collecting and documenting SMS games, it seems almost implausible for releases in major markets like Europe, North America or Japan to reveal any unseen games. Brazil or Korea, now that's another story.
It was exciting, for a time, though, to entertain the idea that we had a completely new release on our hands. Glad nobody profited from it though, in no small part due to all our community here. Good work boys!
