The one thing that does look off to me is the barcode on the back which seems to go right to the edges of the insert. It not too hard to knock up a fake thats convincing in an auction photo. And its not as if it must have been done to rip somone off, but just made for fun. So I'd like to know from the buyer if on close inspection the paper and print pattern of the insert matches the usual master system type.
If its real, then I'm guessing its going to be tough to find more!

HAHAHAAHA, Play, that's some funny faeces right there. A Classics Kixx. Hard to say with this one. Something tells me it could be a scam, because then by creating hype you could pull one out later discreetly and you know half of the people in this thread would bid on it. If we knew more of the rationale behind which games were chose for classicizing we'd have a better idea, it helped to explain the existence of the blue Rambo.

This is the rarest classic by far: Hahaha, that's a beauty ;D. Right then, a few things don't look right about this here Streets Of Rage Classic. First things first, this jumped out at me straight away and I'm surprised no-one else has mentioned it. How many SMS games do you know that have the title screen as one of the screenshots on the back of the box? Do title screens sell games? No. Action shots sell games. Point 2. The title on the cover doesn't match the spine and rear. Titles always match on all sides as far as I know. They will have been printed out in different sizes from the same image and then arranged to make a mock up which then would go on to be the final product. The SMS SOR logo always has that blue scribble behind it, the spine and rear logo look like the original MD version of the logo. And finally, the barcode seems wrong. Too far into the corner. I'm a big SOR fan so even with all this I still do hope it's real, it just doesn't add up though.

Point 1: Ayrton Senna's Super Monace GP II My classics version has a title screen as the first picture.
Point 2: Here you could be right and have the only argument so far that would suggest a fake. A really good one I might add if that would be the case. Then again, we don't know anything about the rereleases and therefore it doesn't mean that when one is different than the others, that it has to be fake.
Point 3: Hard to see I think. On all of my copies of classic releases, the barcode is 2mm away from both sides except for my Wonder Boy. This one has a 4mm gap from the bottom. So 2mm on a blurry picture could be almost invisible. If on top of that, the cover is a bit worn down, the edges might show damage not visible on the picture which would make the 2mm go down to 1 or even 0.

Point 1: Ayrton Senna's Super Monace GP II My classics version has a title screen as the first picture. Not really the same thing there. The SMGP2 screenshot is showing off the graphics in the game not just a few words, it will have been chosen to draw people into buying it. Options screens are qute often used when there isn't much to a game, it shows prospective buyers that the game is bigger than it may first appear. The SOR title screen is crap, there is so many better things that would have been included than a shot of the words Streets Of Rage, in fact the character select screen is quite often used in the SOR series to show off the variety of play modes available. They wouldn't waste that valuable space on the box, that could be the difference between someone buying that game or another, by putting some words in there that are a couple of inch higher up on the box. the only game I can think of that has the title screen as a screenshot is Columns, and to be fair there isn't much to choose from for screenshots of the game. There may be more, but I doubt you'll find any action games like that. True, but mock ups were quite often done by hand back in those days. I've seen a few SMS mock ups before and they were just bits of paper stuck on a blank grid pattern. the fact they don't match just seems to go against the methods that would have been used. Even if the mock up was done on computer, do you think they would have gone to all the effort of using a different logo rather than just resizing the one they already had? Can't argue with that . Inserts often look different in the cases too. Like I said, I would like it to be real. I love the SMS, the Classics and the SOR games, so it would be a true master piece for me if it were real. It just doesn't seem right to me. Someone needs to contact the buyer for a scan!

The back of the insert does look a little odd to me... A scan of it would be nice, but that may be asking too much.
