Thought it would be nice to hear what people are finishing and playing, a mini review of each game you finish would be nice too . Last game I finished was Running Battle, it is a terrible game and I wouldn't reccomend it unless you were a spy looking for some new torture methods to use. This is by far the worst SMS game I have played so far. I'm concentrating on The Terminator now, not sure what to make of it yet, but I'll let you know as sson as I've finished it .

By finished do you mean completed? It's been a long time since I actually completed a SMS game. I think Wonder Boy in Monster World is the last game I actually completed, which was probably over 15 years ago now. As for a mini review; I really enjoyed WBIMW once I got into it. It starts of fairly slow and it's nowhere near as compelling as Wonder Boy III, but it's a solid action adventure game that’s worth a try at least.
When I'm not playing the God of War collection on the PS3 I'm replaying Shinobi in the hope that I may someday get past the third boss.

By finished do you mean completed? It's been a long time since I actually completed a SMS game. I class finished as completed, but if you want to class it as last game you played for a while go ahead . I've just completed The Terminator, and I can't decide whether I liked it or not. The gameplay is pretty good overall, with only a few annoying things, mainly the lack of being able to fire while you're jumping and the dodgy collision detection while on steps. The one life thing is rather annoying too, there's certain parts of the game where instant death awaits the first couple of times you get to those parts, and it can be quite annoying having to start again from the beginning. The levels have lots of maze like parts on them too which generally don't need exploring at all, but until you know which way to go you can end up coming across lots of dead ends and instant deaths. But once you know where you're going, it's a pretty good game! I actually enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would, and once you figure out where to go (especially on Level 4) it's a fun and easy game. I was going to start a high score thread for it, but unless you farm enemies then the score is going to be the same for everyone. You can actually sit and farm enemies for as long as you like on the first level. In fact that's another annoying part, the only way to reach the number 1 spot on the in game score board is to farm enemies, I finished it and was only in 6th! Next up is Golden Axe, I've gotten to Death Adder a few times but never beaten him, so hopefully this time I will batter him .

Gangster Town, a couple of days ago now I'm focusing on beating it w/o continuing (it's not easy). It's the best light gun game I've played on any system. The game is reminiscent of the shooting stages in Bayou Billy, but with A LOT better gameplay. Also, there are hidden items and bonuses, and a hidden continue feature. meu2 try using a turbo controller for the third boss in Shinobi (that's how I beat him).

I think Gangster Town is fairly easy to beat without continuing, but you need to get ALL the level ups, and not shoot Lulu, cause you need the health on the final level.
Plus it helps that I've had Gangster Town as long as I've had my SMS! The real fun is taking out gangsters with two guns John Woo style!
Most recently I beat Wonder Boy again for only the second time in 20 years! Up next is Space Harrier. I can beat it on Easy, now to try Normal.

Japanese version of Zillion, on an emulator cause i'm no hardcore collector I don't have anything planned as school work will take most of my free time the next couple of weeks until christmas. But I really want to take a crack at completing a bunch of my games after Christmas. I'm hoping to complete atleast 10 in the near future. I feel that I REALLY have to honestly complete Wonder Boy III and not only seeing the ending with that password

I wouldn't mind playing it again if it was different.

This is going to sound weird/stupid, but I don't know acctually as I haven't played the US/EU one/s. I'm slowly going thru the occasional Japanese game alphabet wise (Zillion is second as it starts with Akai) on emulators knowing that I won't ever collect those versions. I stay clear of the EU versions as I might end buying most of them one day. The day I buy Zillion I will still play it thru even if it's the same exact game. If it's not, then that's even better! I know it's kind of backwards and I would probably be better of spending more time completing the games I own then playing versions of games I don't have yet. But I guess I take any excuse to play some games hoping to find something odd

Aha, finally passed that damn boss after all these years. Perhaps there's hope for me yet. Made it up to level 5-2 before being killed by the ninjas that spin into the screen at you. It's funny how easy Lobster is in comparison to Mandara.
