Doesn't look faded to me. Any pics of the front?

I noticed something strange about Joe Montana. I have one that says football in green on the spine and another is blue. It didn't look faded and the front and back of the blue one say football in green so it didn't seem like an ink problem either. I'm almost certain that's sun-fading. I've had a fair few games where the spine was horribly faded, but the rest of the insert was fine. The most likely cause is that they were stacked as shown in your picture (possibly by a window), so only the spine was exposed to the sun's radiation.

Probably sun fade, believe me I've seen a lot worse . I've also had games where certain colours are different from standard on the whole cover though, I've put that down to a problem with the printing process that went un-noticed by the printers .

Yeah, a few other people said sun fading before I put that picture up. I actually have two more Joe Montana games in my for sale pile a lot like this but the blue one has hints of green in it. I know UV rays can do some weird things to certain plastics especially white plastic. Left in the sun for long lengths of time, white plastic will turn yellow. I also know with a lot of old toys it's common and well known that you can't leave certain types of plastic touching each other for extended periods of time because they will actually melt together. It's known as "melt marks." I'm sure it's safe to call this fading but you have to admit, that's some weird fading. I guess there isn't much on the spine but you would think the purple ink in the Sega logo on the blue copy would look a little faded as well. Here' a pic of the front, back and spine

Check out this spine on Sonic the Hedgehog. The title is still red as can be, but sonic is washed out and the Master System title is just gone but Sega title just above it is still blue... however not as blue as it should be. I guess it's just certain inks turn differently in the sun?... you should sacrifice a copy of Joe Montana and put it's face or back in the window to see if the other titles will change the same color! (well... not really!) Attachments:

It must be something to do with the inks. That's strange though on your Sonic seeing the Master System is gone yet the title is fine seeing they are the same red ink and on the same side of the game.
I'll put Joe Montana in the window and meet you back here in 20 years. XD

Zillion and Zillion II can both be found with and without the Jasrac sticker on the back.
Ghostbusters and Monopoly can be found with (R) or (TM) next to the title on the cart label - with the spelling error and Sega for the 90's stickers, this makes 8 variations of Monopoly, on top of that I've been told some versions of Monopoly had a glitch and some were fixed. No idea if that's true or if it's included in one of the variations mentioned. Has anyone seen the blue label of Ghostbusters with both (R) or (TM)?
I still believe a few of the re-release games came in different combination's. For example California Games, Double Dragon, Reggie Jackson Baseball.
Is anyone 100% sure on these?
I always thought it went like this
California Games - normal (red label, normal book, normal insert with (R) next to Sega logo's) California Games - re-release (red label, 1990 book, re-release insert with no (R) next to Sega logo's) California Games - re-release (blue label, normal book, normal insert with (R) next to Sega logo's) California Games - re-release (blue label, 1990 book, re-release insert with no (R) next to Sega logo's)
Then the same combination's for Double Dragon and Reggie Jackson Baseball.
Obviously if you have the normal and re-release of these games you can put together these combo's but does anyone know for sure if these three games did in fact come in all four of these combination's brand new?

There's a lot on ebay right now with a loose Shooting Gallery cart that has a Sega for the 90's sticker on it.
I have to admit that seems like a really odd one to have 90's stickers.

the two alternating hamburger pictures is the motion of him eating the burger, one shows the lettuce, one doesnt i believe. It's funny being from aus where the sms II is much more common, i never knew any other than the burger

Hey guys. Thanks!! I'll update the list soon. While you're at it, you can ad Zillion to the SFT '90s sticker list as well.
