O.K. so I'm playing Dynamite Dux tonight for the second time since the early '90's or so and I beat with one continue..Is it just me or is this possibly the easiest game on the Master System? Most Master games are pretty challenging but Dynamite Dux seems almost too easy. Wish there was a difficulty setting. Anyways, to you, what do you think is the easiest Master System game.

Special Criminal Investigation wins that one for me.
You can complete it in literally about 5 minutes, you never need to brake and there's one corner on the last stage where you need to ease off the throttle. Bosses rarely fire back as well, it's just one massive joke.
I found that after playing some more modern games a lot of SMS games are much easier. Your reactions get better and a lot of more modern games in older school genres are considerably harder - but with better difficulty curves. Like time spent getting good at Giga Wing on the Dreamcast meant the next time I popped in Power Strike (first time in about 5 years) I completed it for the first time ever.

E-SWAT, Sonic Chaos, Wonder Boy In Monster World and a few others I can't remember right now. Still fun games though. Dynamite Dux was easy yeah. Double Dragon is too a bit now I come to think of it.

Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars is pretty easy
Castle of Illusion is easy too, especially if you know all the hidden boxes. Only the battle against the dragon is a bit more difficult.
Enduro Racer, World Cup Italia '90 and Parlour Games (especially Darts) are also way too easy.

Tom and Jerry for me, I remember getting it for my birthday as a kid and I had it finished by the afternoon. Then made my mum take it back and get another, think it was Transbot

The western Enduro Racer definitely is an easy ride, but the difficulty is a lot more balanced in the Japanese version with those crazy last two levels. Great game on either side of the shore, though!
I don't know if repeating games count, but it's pretty much a cakewalk to get to the first end loop of Astro Warrior or Safari Hunt.
Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars is pretty easy, but the second loop through the levels (which unlike the constant loop games is at least worked into the game's story) definitely has more challenge to it.
Alex Kidd in Shinobi World, on the other hand, is very easy and very short. Nothing against it, though, because it too is a wonderful little game.
Great thread, though, because a lot of times I'm just looking for a nice easy game to beat when I've only got a bit of spare time, so the list here will come in handy!

I would have to say Tazmania, it can be completed in way less than an hour.

sonic chaos, especially when you play as tails. You don't need to collect the emeralds. Even so, one of my favourite games on the sms.

Submarine Attack is incredibly easy, but quite fun. The same goes for Enduro Racer, as already noted.
Sonic Chaos is easy, but I didn't find it fun.
I'm tempted to say Paper Boy, too... I've not got the highest score (I'm currently third), but it's so easy to get to the end -- even on hard -- without losing a life.

I can't get to the end of the week on it :P Aladdin is another very easy one, its a very short game which is a pity as whats there is good but theres just not enough of it.

Streets of Rage I completed the 1st day I bought it - though it still blows me away now.
Back to The Future 3 is really easy, as is:
Golden Axe Sonic Chaos Home Alone Battle Outrun Outrun SCI Aladdin The Lion King Cheese Cat-astrophe (can do this with 1 life) Submarine Attack (completed it 3 times in a row then got bored)
Pit Fighter is the easiest for me. It's a bloody joke

I completed Moonwalker in a few hours....the game has no level bosses till the very end. I could've been disciplined and not continued every time after dying (there are infinite continues), but it wasn't the sort of game that would satisfy me into thinking "well ok, thats been fun....I think I'll stop it there and continue later".....I think i was so frustrated everytime i died that i HAD to try again.
In a few hours of playing Kenseiden, I made it up to the final boss.....I felt so good that i had made it so far, so quickly that after I lost, I felt content to just leave the game and do something else. I wasn't able to beat the boss until a couple of days later.

How on a thread like this can nobody have mentioned Virtua Fighter Animation yet?? It is without a doubt the easiest game on the system. Nothing else even comes close with only Enduro Racer being a speck on the horizon.

Land of Illusion was easy, but amusingly enough, it took me three tries to beat it, since on the first two playthroughs, one of the buttons stopped working (has this ever happened to anyone else, or is it just me? It can usually be fixed by unplugging the controller and plugging it back in, but it's still annoying) and while trying to fix it, I bumped my Master System, causing it to crash. Twice. Huge fail on my part.
In all honesty though, the game isn't hard at all, and chances are, if you lose a life, it's because you don't know what you're doing (Like when you fight a boss for the first time). The final boss was also a bit of a joke. Really though, it's a fantastic platformer while it lasts, so I still consider it well worth the cash.
