Well I had a bit of heartbreak yesterday, as a local Virtua Fighter cab popped up and I was able to convince the seller to part with it for $300 including delivery. I was all set to put it in my basement beside Thunder Blade, but it turns out the depth of the cab is about 2 inches too big to fit in my basement. I could get it down the first few stairs, but it would not maneuver around the turn.
Virtua Fighter is the game I've always wanted. If I could have one cab, that would be it. And to find it locally for a good price, it was just tragic that I could not get it. Damn Sega for not making the unit smaller and more of the size of all the other cabs of the time. I love my new place, but now I'm wishing I bought one with a garage!
Pics to come of my Thunder Blade and my whole gaming setup once a couple more Ikea shelves come in stock and I can finish unboxing everything.

That sucks Grolt... you can't stick it in another room? I just had to pass on a cheapish 4 player Quartet because I moved to a place with no garage so I feel your pain. ddevilfingers Are you going after that cab? That would be great to have... although I can't imagine that shipping from Perth to the east coast is very affordable.

That sucks Grolt... you can't stick it in another room? I just had to pass on a cheapish 4 player Quartet because I moved to a place with no garage so I feel your pain. My place is a three level split, so really the only place I could put it is in the living room, and even now the room is already pretty cluttered and I wouldn't want a big geeky cab making it worse. It's a pretty common cab, I'm sure down the line when I move up to a place with a garage I'll finally have my day of reckoning! Too bad about that Quartet cab...that would be so great to have. A perfect party machine. Was it local?

Here is my newest cabinet. Just a pity that it doesnt work right atm. Sometimes it works and then the screen gets black. When i opened it i noticed that the CPU board was wet. Look like it was stored outside.... Do you think the cpu board is damaged irreparably, since it got wet?

Well, running electricity through it when it's wet doesn't help anything at all! I'd let it try for a few days, or use a cold air blow dryer on it to try and dry it all off before attempting to run power through it. That's a wicked cab, though, I've never seen a Hang-on version like that. I like the cat that comes with it in picture one, too. This reminds me, I still have to post my Thunder Blade cab and my whole retro SEGA basement setup. Soon!

What year is your BMW? My friend had a 1974, 2002 Cool, it is a 1970 BMW 2000. I traded it for my 1959 cadillac, which needed a total restoration...
