Ok, I know that I am spruking a fairly ordinary game here... but because it was one that I saved long and hard for back in the day... and I truly LOVE all things Simpson I end up actually liking this very average game! You are Bart, you win an art competition on Krusty's show and then have to travel the world collecting Krusty heads and products in order to guest on Itchy and Scratchy. Nice huh?! At each level's end you must destroy different relatives of Mr Burns, obviously because he hates the Simpsons so much... So it is kind of cool to see the Chinese Burns rocking a Fu Man Chu 'tache. Collect gems for lives, heads of Jebediah Sprinfield for invincibility, cherry bombs for ammo, squishees for health and I think the ability to fly/glide with Bartman is a cool idea. Mini games like 'memory' and those slidey picture things tend to break the monotony between levels or if you, like me, get frustrated at the crap ways to die that you need a time out. I never have completed this game.. I don't think I even got to 'Hollywood' which is the last place. Maybe I can improve.... I like it, despite it's terribly repetitive music, chunky graphics and mild monotony. I am also staying true to my penchant for platform/puzzle games!! Enjoy ;D Attachments:

This game series always interested me. I always thought the SMS port of The Simpsons Bart Vs. The Space Mutants was far superior to the NES version, but this one seemed a step down in certain regards, but still good, and still as difficult as all hell. I almost beat the NES version, so it will be fun to try to see how far I can get with this one.

Cool to see a new pic and read your thoughts on it, JC. I used to play a lot of the old Bart games to death on the NES and SNES, like Space Mutants and Bart's Nightmare. I don't really remember much (if any at all) about World, so this one might be entirely new to me. I'm excited to play it, but I doubt I'll have the time at least for another week or so...

I'm still dissapointed there was never a sms version of the Escape From Grandma's House arcade machine, which bart played in the Bart gets an F episode. Bart Vs the World is pretty damn tough, especially the skateboarding level, I shall give it a proper playing session this weekend.

I have only played this game long enough to make sure it works. Being a big fan of Tomacco Juice and all things Simpsons, I'm all over this one... good pick.

Made it through to stage 3. Am yet to complete a slidey puzzle (I always have 2 pieces that won't get to where they need to be!) Might have to put in some more time this weekend. The music is slightly beginning to annoy me but I can always mute and crank up the AC/DC. grolt: www.thesimpsonsmovie.com Upload a pic and make yourself into a Simpson

Man this game is annoying! First attempt, beat all of the levels apart from the skateboarding one - which then decides to crash my sms after I lose a life on it. Now I can't beat the card turning game, its pure luck! most of the time you just don't have enough turns to do it. I may persist still with playing it though...
.... update, nah thats enough of that for now! Its the sort of game I probably would have played a lot if I had bought it as a kid with money I'd had to save for ages. But now I just don't have the patience for medicore games. Any game that features sliding puzzles is always bad - its a sign the developers had run out of ideas, or didn't have time to do anything decent.

Sliding puzzles not good??? How about BTTF 2?! That game is pure class..."brace yourself for temporal displacement!" And guess what my Game Club pick will be....

I am having zero problems with skating the Great Wall but I did put in a lot of hard yards back in the day, so mayne I just remember the knack of timing... More of an issue for me in the ice caves in level 2. As far as the memory cards go, I just go down the columns from left to right and get it in one go, but maybe I am just nifty at remembering where the characters are playgen, hang in there!!

But theres 16 cards, and 8 randomly placed hidden characters to find. When you only get 5 turns to do it, you can't possibly know where every character will be. Its definitly down to luck - if you manage to find a couple of matches by pure chance then your OK. However you can quite easily use up all your 5 turns before even seeing a pair of identical character cards, at least I seem to.

Have you tried just going down the columns?? Just did it 3 times in a row and no problems... This is in no way, shape or form meant to be me taking the piss by the way.... Just trying to help you win 4 Krusty heads!

This game is crap. I've just been playing SMS Pit Fighter & completed it on hard without losing a single block of energy.....now that's what I call a game...

I just got 71050 as a score on this game and managed to get past the card part but got game over on the 7th stage after failing to make a jump in the cave level.
