Hey all, a buyer alerted me to something I've never noticed before. Some ASTRO WARRIOR carts have a brown circuit board, while others have a white one. In pulling them apart, the one with the white connector base has two EPROM chips, while the brown one has one. This was brought up in another thread about Alex Kidd in Miracle World, so I'm guessing that several of the early One-Mega releases had these variants depending on the production run. Do the colors change the same way with the carts for other games? How many games are like this? Are there any other differences?
The buyer mentioned it was a concern for programmers - how does the two chip structure help that? Elite hackers, I'm calling on you!
