I picked up this game for the 360 cheap, not really expecting much ... just as well really.
Honestly, this is the most horrible game I've had the misfortune to buy in a good while. The graphics look dated, the combat is horrible and the game-play just sucks.
I'm keen to know what anyone else thinks of this? Does it get any better if you play it more? I'm in the position that I don't want to waste another 3 hours of my life to find out.

From every other review I've read it sounds like it only gets worse. It's a shame, since I was totally psyched to see SEGA reviving some old IPs like Golden Axe and Alien Syndrome, but from the reviews for both, they shouldn't have bothered. I don't care though, I still want a new Alex Kidd.
Gameplay wise, though, does it still keep with the beat'em up formula, just on a 3D level, or is it more adventure-ish now?

When was the last time Sega made a good game? Just wondering, I haven't played them all but the ones I have played were lame. It seems they stopped giving a crap a while ago.
Maybe when my broke ass 360 gets fixed by M$ I'll be able to find out. But it will probably break again before long.

I just got rid of my crappy 360 after it broke for the 4th time and got me a ps3 so i feel your pain - however I pre-ordered golden axe all excited like and it was just a mediocre hack n slash affair with crappy tacked on beasts, but if you compare it to any of the classic golden axes then it goes right down the pan and just becomes completely hideous and blahpemous.
