Master System talk has been quiet lately, so at the risk of sounding fanboy-ish, which is your favorite character from the platform games? Having a favorite platformer is one thing, but what about the characters? Which one was the epitome of cool for you, or which one was the most unique? Which one most makes you think "Master System", or which character (not game) was the most interesting? I've tried to pick games from all over, but to keep the already long list reasonable I've left off some of the less popular one off platform main characters. If you really love Monica, Teddy Boy or Geraldinho, then vote Other. Or if you really want to live on the edge, then vote Alf. ;D

Goin with da Fox. I love him. It was one of the first SMS games I played straight through and was obsessed with throughout the day. Love every moment of it.

It's Sonic for me, love the little blue fella . Although his new image doesn't appeal to me much, got an official Sonic toy at the car boot the other week and it had green eyes, just doesn't look right.

I gotta go with the Kidd because I always liked the fact that unlike most heroes he wasn't out to do the Mario thing and save the girl. He was always out to save the planet or go to the arcade. He wouldn't boast or give you 'tude like Sonic, either. Just a humble little squirt going out there and getting the job done.

I put in for Wonder Boy also. Alex Kidd's oversize appenditures freak me out. Shinobi World is great though.

I had to vote for Wonder Boy; as much as I like Sonic or Alex Kidd, I gotta say that that WB was very influential to me and every game of the serie is very entertaining and well done.

I'm gonna wimp out bit time and go for two which equally buzz my nads, namely old Psycho Fox and Opa-Opa - love the fox because I love decapattack and only managed to get hold of psycho fox recently and haven't stopped playing it since, and I loves that Opa-Opa because I don't know what the hell he/it is - is it a spaceship? is it piloted? then why does it have legs and wings - 'tis surely some sort of crazy meat machine! plus I love the mad arsed worlds it inhabits!

Do you prefare the earlier incarnations of sonic or are you a sonic fan through and through and enjoyed even that disgustingly half assed attempt with that werehog nonsense?

Alex Kidd !!!
Only for Alex Kidd in World Miracle!
This Plays is a pearl, absolute, total and final.
The blow of the motor bike, the pedicopter and the jetski it is enormous for the time.
Then paper ciceau hones it there too it is very original!
Large Plays really!
But I recognize that Wonder Boy and PsychoFox like Sonic my to mark much them too!
If I were to make a signal 5 of best Jeux of platforms I would say:
Alex Kidd in Miracle World: Single! a hit absolute, original fun, powerful! with foot, motor bike, pedicopter or jetskie and with stone blows paper chisel.
Wonder Boy: still large plays from the '80, length, nice, with foot or in skate board, with blow of axe and with fruits as are boss of end.
Psycho Fox: still an original, beautiful hit and fun, original in these transformations, adze delicate in these movement but so much good
Sonic The Hedgehog: obviously, traditional of the kind, plays of platform from the '90, as good as the version Mega Drive, a snap, a graphic vice.
Castle of Illusion: best Plays of platform resulting from a film/series on Master System, right in front of Astérix but far in front of all others!

My vote is pure fanboyism. And it goes to Alf. Now I am aware of how bad the game supposedly is; yet this is about the character, and I have a special love for Alf. Much like David Hasselhoff was so successful in Germany, Alf was too. Alf was everywhere, it was like with the Pokemon a decade later. I still have an big Alf plushie lying in my bed to this day, and more small plushies, figurines, cups, T-Shirts, audio-tapes and comics in my basement. Alf is a childhood memory very dear to me, so I just have to give him the vote. After all, the SMS was the only console to feature an Alf-game...and I am going to get a copy of it someday!
