Okay, so I started playing this Mark III exclusive last night. It's actually a pretty fun room crawler from an isometric viewpoint. It's a shame you can't read anything they are saying or anything in your command window, but much of it is simple enough. Usually you're digging through desks for fruit or stopping for a random piano interlude. The cultural barrier is in full effect though - there's a ton of weird goingson throughout. Case in point, the intro. Can someone please tell me a.) what they say in that third frame and more importantly b.) what the hell is going on? Take a look: From what I gather, one of them pinches a giant school girl, she gets confused, they all make giant white faces, and then the other one passes out. The last time I saw something that weird in an SMS game was when that naked punk was crapping out skulls in Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars. Please...help me...

Nooooo! I looked for the ROM and info on SMSPower, but couldn't make much progress there (or find that amazing thread). So instead I found a ROM elsewhere and consulted the GameFAQs walkthrough. It's definitely easy once you figure out to do, and it takes about 5 minutes with the walkthrough. I wish I had known about the English translation though, so I could have tried to figure it out on my own. I'm excited to walk around and talk to people though.
That patch is indeed a milestone. I hope more of these kinds of things get completed for the text heavy Mark III games. The Story of Mio looks like a great game, and I know a translation was started, so hope one day someone picks up where it stalled and finally finishes it. Loretta's Portrait looks like it would be decent fun too if it were ever made English. Are there any other English translations like this that I'm not aware of?
Thanks for the links!

Sorry for my re-post, grolt.
So methinks I would be better off downloading the ROM As opposed to paying $35 for the repro...lol.

Yeah, there are posts in this in the Master System Development sub-forum. I really hope it does get finished, the game looks like a riot.
