I got 2 quesitons...
I have a SMS II PAL-I with Sonic Built in..I bought it at Value Center 4 years ago thinking it's the US Model..It's the UK Model, Can I have it modded for AV to play on the NTSC TV's
Another thing is, what Master System Model 1 works with 8 Meg Games like SFII & Sonic Blast

Codemasters and 8megabit games play on the SMS1 with Hangon&Safarihunt or Alex Kidd built in.

Is there a cheap way converting it to work on my TV though RF...I don't want a Convertor that cost $100 just for one item

Actually a modded PAL console outputs 60hz in PAL, not NTSC which your TV is highly unlikely to agree with. Easiest solution: use a US SMS1 or 2 instead, and get a cheap copy of Sonic1 from europe if you don't have it.

8 Meg games work fine on the Game Gear, but unless you want this feature for Street Fighter II', I don't really see the point of playing the Master System versions of Sonic Blast and Virtua Fighter Animation on the Game Gear. It's best to play the proper Game Gear versions of both games.

I just tryed Sonic Blast on my Game Gear useing the Master Gear, it didn't work... That's pretty strange, because when playing my Master System versions of Sonic Blast and Virtua Fighter Animation on my Game Gear using the Master Gear, althogh the screen is constantly flickering (that's a problem of my Game Gear handling the Master System mode incorrectly, because it happens with every single Master System game and even with Game Gear Castle of Illusion), both games do work perfectly. I don't have Street Fighter II' yet, but it should be the same. Maybe it's a problem with your Game Gear or your Master Gear.

The best way to clean carts is to use cotton buds (cotton on two ends of a small stick) and to rub it back and forth abit on the contacts you will see that they go slightly black. It works all the time for me.

The 8megabit games play on a SMS1 with either Alex Kidd or Safari Hunt/Hang on built in. As these consoles have the same BIOS and VDP graphics chip update the SMSII has.
