The title says it all really. I remember getting this back in the day bundled with my console. It was a special offer from Dixons, but it never really saw much use in my house. The console we bought already came with 2 controllers so there wasn't really any need to use this. I remember trying to use it with Space Harrier and a few other games. No matter how much I tried I couldn't get used to this controller. I think the reason for it was it felt like the t-grip was on the wrong side of the controller. Making it more suitable for someone left handed. I guess Sega's idea was to let players use their right hand for the actual control, given most people are right handed this should translate into more precise control. It just doesn't feel right to me still!
I've also noticed that very often a common fault with these joysticks is the T-grip becomes detected or breaks all-together. I remember the day I broke mine. I think I gave this joystick a fair chance, is it really as bad as I'm suggesting? Or does anyone actually prefer using this?

Its pretty crappy really, although its a lot better than the standard pad for playing Ms Pacman. The T-grip does come loose too easily so it just moves about in your hand, and the whole thing is just too small, light and flimsy feeling. I'm in danger of boring people to death with this, but get the Megadrive Arcade Power Stick and use that, its just so much better than anything else.

i prefer using the controll stick actualy, for any games but sports, mashing buttons with my left hand is a nogo.

I don't think i gave mine a fair chance, as Sinistral said it just doesn't feel right using your right hand to control the direction. I might have a go at swapping one round to work the normal way. It shouldn't be too hard, just take the stick apart, turn the stick buttons round 180 degrees and swap the buttons over. Might have to strip the cable a bit for the button swap . I wouldn't pay any more than a normal pad for one biltho, unless of course it's boxed and minty

It would be so much better if they actually had the stick and buttons the correct way round.... does anybody know if there's actually a story behind why it was put on the opposite side? Or was it just maybe what Sinistral said?
I've got a loose one that I don't use, and a mint one in it's box, where it is going to stay for all eternity!!
