Lets hear about any games your playing at the moment, anything not on sms, and what you think of them Can be for a new or old console, just thought it would be a good way to let others know about good or great games available, widen the horizons from just sms a little bit. I'm currently playing Ninja Gaiden on xbox, its supposed to be one of the best games on the system, and was highly scored by all the magazines, so I had high hopes for it. And it really is great... at first. You can pull of cool moves like running on walls, back flips, you've got a sword to slash up enemies in good old bloody gory fashion. Its a real graphical showcase for the console too, it all looks great, and I love the ancient Japanese setting. But the game is so unbelievably hard, and the camera is so awkward, hiding the enemies from you a lot of the time. Its such a disappointment that a brilliant game has to be messed up with such a crazy difficulty level. But despite being killed all the time, I'm still drawn back to playing it, well after a bit of a break from nearly throwing the pad out the window that is.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition on the Wii and Flatout: Ultimate Carnage on the Xbox 360.
Despite my initial annoyances with Resident Evil 4, I ended up loving it. My boss bought a Wii with Resident Evil 4 and is currently beating me. :)
I've always loved the Flatout series since I first played the second one on the PC - it is the best "racing"/destruction game ever. I bought an Xbox 360 just for this game (which is just a remake of the second one) and it was well worth it. :)
I've also been playing Far Cry: Vengeance on the Wii - until I got Resident Evil 4, that is. :) A pretty good game - I'll get back to it once I complete this game.

I'm currently playing the folowing: Wii - Exite Truck, simple but very playable racing game, I need to score an S licence in every track to open the diamond course. It's not difficult to win a race but to score an 'S' is another matter. I really like this game, you have to really work at it to get a good score and the controles are great. I thought using the wiimote as a streering wheel would be stupid but it now feels more natural than using a D pad. DS - Action Loop, very frustrating but addictive puzzler. but beware it will mess your touch screen up so make sure you use protection MD - Toe Jam & Earl, this is abit of a white lie as i havnt started it yet but it's currectly top of my 'MD to play list'. I played it back in the day on my mates MD and it was a great game, funny and lots of depth.

DS-Diddy Kong Racing and Goldeneye: Rogue Agent. Diddy Kong Racing is a great game but i'm finding it all a bit too easy as i played the game to death on the N64. Goldeneye: RA isn't too bad but the targeting system is very touchy.
PS2- Ico, Devil May Cry 3,Onimusha 3- I've finished Ico 3 or 4 times now, a true masterpiece. I haven't been into town for ages but next time i do i'll have to buy Shadow Of The Collosus, if its even half as good as Ico i'll be happy. The other too are quite good but seem to be lacking compared to previous games in the series.
MD- Wiz 'n' Liz - I've only just started this, it's not bad but i can see me getting bored with it before i complete it.

i'll give you a tip rupert, when driving on straights keep swaying your remote from from left to right to score extra drift stars,it doesn't slow you down that much either but those extra stars are the difference between a super and an a grade

i'm about the same stage as you then.. I would have prefered the 2nd lot of stages to have been abit different from the first, i was abit miffed about that. I think unlocking the better trucks helps alot.
Test Drive unlimeted is amazing! My uncle has it and plays it on Live, get into some good races, especially with the tuned bikes ;D

I've been buying lots of Xbox games lately.... trying to buy some of the last few games that intrest me. I have like ten or so left. The next time I get a crappy check at work I'll buy a few more games. I've been enjoying Bloodrayne 2, and Taito Legends is a fun little complitation of classics. The second one is in the mail, and I'm very happy it runs with no problems on a US Xbox.
