One thing I didn't think of yesterday...since there doesn't seem to be a complete list anywhere of all the game Majesco re-released for the Genesis in the late 90's, that could be something to have on the site. I know DigitPress has a thread on it, but for people who don't want to dredge through tons of posts, this would be a good option.
You may also want to get a hold of "nebrazca78". He can be found on eBay, or get Stan to get you in touch with him. Or I could. He has the entire Genesis game collection, as well as 32X and most, if not all, Sega CD games. He'd be a pile of knowledge for your site as far as variations and things goes, as well as scans and picutres since he has almost every game and keeps them in individual Zip-Loc bags in plastic tote containers!

Yeah, that guy's pretty disturbed about collecting. That sounds awesome man, any help you can offer by way of a great database would be excellent. The Genesis Collective, from what I've seen, is lacking in this regard.

That sister site looks like a clone of this one that is why it will not do well.

That was the idea, to look SIMILAR while providing information about the 16-Bit era. It will do fine, I can tell already. Well, the template will need work but based on the current design will be easy to access by users familiar with the one here. I think the most important thing is to get cracking on the games database once you're ready, since this is the first area most people are interested in.

Yeah, that guy's pretty disturbed about collecting. Disturbed is an understatement! Who needs 7 copies of Lunar for the Sega CD because the discs have different art on them? As well as the rest of the Working Design games. The money that must have cost! Very good guy though, with great auctions. ;D Perhaps the board started by goldenaxeboy could transform into the board for the sega16bit site.

I dont think the site will do as well because he does not plan on making a message board so a couple of years and then bye bye.

Ha ha! ;D
All you have is a messageboard - so you cant say much. You have a long way to go before you can justifiably slag off other peoples efforts.

There's more than 700 different cartridge games - not including variations. And that increases again if you count megacd and 32x games - I dont count them as seperate systems.

Ha, well at least you gave us a few years! As you can see boy, look what he said up there. He LIKES the fact that it's designed similar because it will be easy to navigate. Thus, if you're already a member here, to get info on the 16-Bit era you go there and can easily find your way around because it's set up the same. A messageboard comes SECOND, not first. We'll probably throw something together soon, but the important thing is to get the site up and running with enough cool info for people to talk about. Then, start a board and people can discuss errors, mistakes and things to add. That's the point of a messageboard and site working together. Without the latter, good luck lasting past a few months. This site will be around for a long, long time.

Right now I got some problem with the staff page for some reason, but it will be sorted out soon I hope. But now for the important reason I am posting: How does the front page look like? Is the colours allright? (It will take a little time before all works the way it should as I am redoing alot of the codes because the way it is now it is ALOT of work changing colours etc. also there is alot of codes etc that dont need to be there.) Anyone got any suggestions on wich pictures to use on the front page? Anyone got any suggestions on how the welcoming text should be? Also if you got any other ideas please post em here . Also, still need more people to help so if your interested in working somehow on the website send me a PM. thanks, Peder.
