The master system cartidge sticker should instead be a Genesis game cover. The same grid, a bit bigger, in black with silver grid lines. I suggested that instead of the Red Genesis/blue Mega Drive bar up the left side because the black and silver grid was the same no matter what the system was called.
And the entire page should have this background. That, or if it's a "sister" site to Sega8bit, lay it out the same way and change the colour scheme to fit the Genesis/Mega Drive.

It is not generally for all Mega Drives, it is for the japanese one.
The background will be changed..
And its not really officially a sister site to Sega8bit though that was the original idea mentioned here on the forums.

Andy just contacted me and the site will be hosted by him and the same system used on sega8bit.com will be used on sega16bit.com but I will offcourse change the design to something similar to what I was just working on.

That looks pretty nifty. Since the site os for the Japanese Mega Drive, I will be of no use since I know nothing about it apart from it being 16-bit

Is it just me, or does it seem ludicrous to be covering the Mark III and other 8-bit systems on sega16-bit.com? Surely they have a natural home here? And why focus only on the Japanese MegaDrive? The whole thing seems a little confused at the moment.

it was all just an idea Phil came with.
IT for sure dont have to be only about the japanese one and it dont have to have any sections for the other consoles.
All I am doing now is sorting out the design and pages and getting it ready to get content added.
Then its all up to everyone who wants to participate. What to have on the website etc.
Thats why I started this thread in the first place, to find out what to have on it, who that wants to help make it etc.
Anyone interested please post here or PM me. Anyone with suggestions about what to have on the website etc post it in here please!!
For sega16bit.com to be made I need the sega fans help!

It seems a little pointless to focus just on the Asian console, the majority of visitors to the site will probably use a Pal MD/ Genesis. There really isn't that much difference between the three versions either, and at the end of the day the site is called Sega16bit which is what all 3 are.

You could always cover the Pico too, since that's a 16-bit machine And despite my earlier comment, an English-language site dedicated to the SG-1000 & SC-3000 would be a great thing to see (just under a different name) - there's a couple of good Japanese ones out there, but not much else. That's something I'd be willing to help out with at somepoint, but I'm spreading myself far too thin these days as it is...

Sweet! Sega16Bit! I think you should definitely add a page for the Kersploschki, the Buzdekastanopia version of the Mega Drive. And yes, this was one of the only pictures taken in my castle.

Doesn't the ginat sign get in the way of gameplay? Or does the action bend round it?

Awesome dude, I'm game if you want some help. That's what I was talking about, a site that was essentially a sister to Sega8Bit with a similar design, but all about the 16-Bit era. That being said, I think it should focus on the Genesis/Megadrive, SegaCD and the 32X (and of course including all known variations as we've done with TecToy and such here). Let me know what you want man, I can start dishing out the game database or whatever you need.
