Lol, I just watched the whole thing at work! ;D Had to pause it a good few times mind you. I like how in a 45 min documentary about video games from inception to the 90's, they managed to completely avoid even a single mention of Sega!!!! Shows that it's the American slant on video games as opposed to an actual genuine history then!!!

Well they missed out tons of stuff, but then that did allow them to go into a lot of detail with the few things they did cover. I loved all the interviews and stuff with Miyamoto, and how his childhood memories are a big influence on his games. And they did at least aknowledge that the UK had a huge impact on gaming too. And if you were really paying attention you would have seen the master system being played for a very brief moment!

There was a really well made documentary on channel4 a couple of years ago called Thumb Candy, i had it on tape but cant find it now. Ive been looking for a torrent of it or something but havent had any luck. It was a great programme, had interviews with all the legendary developers behind pacman, space invaders, mario, manic miner, pong, space war etc, and got them to play their own games, and some wernt very good at them at all

Lol, imagine that, programming the game and then not being to complete the damn thing! I can imagine them shouting at the screen - "I made you dammitt, let me win!!!". How frustrating that would be! ;D
