I hate that brummie from the Halifax ads, they are the most annoying ads ever. Or that advert that was on not too long ago about the new silent diesel engine.... "if you hate something change something, make something better" and then it would go to an annoying whistling tune.

For the Aussies out there.... 5 words sums up the crappest and most annoying ad I have seen in a long time...
"..Thorpie says they're fully sick!.."
*shudder*

I know this is meant to be 'most hated advert', but I wasn't being sarcastic about that FilmFour ad. Anyone seen it? I just love how it's been edited, the film snippets they chose to use were just really well put together - pretty stirring, I thought. Puts you in a good film kind of mood.

You should all lucky that you're not live in germany, most of the tv advertisement here are either stupid or disturbing (is it in other countries too, that the advertisements always louder than the movie?) The main problem is, the creators of this spots think they must be funny so they try hard to be funny and fail as they don't have a clue about good humor The only great tv spot so far (the best in 15 years ) was a cross promotion of BMW and Microsoft. At first you see the normal Advertisement for the new Mini, which suddenly gets interfered and you see a alien standing there and say something (in an alien language, and there were all sorts of screen errors), after that you see the end of the mini spot. It was great and most people were shocked and thought it was a real alien, as there was no sign that it was also an advertisement (it was for Halo2)

If thats the car ad where all the pieces of it do a chain reaction to make the "whole car" roll forward you are on about... its all real...
I didnt beleive the ad either but a car enthusiast mate of mine showed me the doco about how they did it. It took them almost 200 attempts before the thing managed to go even halfway through... awesome..
Oh, and damn kellogs... I can't listen to 'I heard it through the grapevine' anymore without being corrupted by "sultanas from the grapevine / make sultana bran taste so fine"
