Hmmmm, there are many that I hate here. Let me think. I can't think of one exactly, suffice to say that American commercials seem to be getting stupider, having nothing to do with the actual product and more with poorly attempted comedy. I'll have to think about this one some more.

Only just about every fucking one of them. Luckily I very rarely watch TV, so am spared the vast majority of them.
Ads as a rule tend to have a reverse effect to me - if there's a really irritating one I'll think "There is no way I am EVER going to give any of my money to those f*ckwits"

Only just about every fu cking one of them. fu cking A. I've only really liked one advert in recent times and that was the 'I am the wolfman' one for the PS2. The short that that was taken from is genius. But there are too many sh it ones to list - the bank one where the customer and the advisor give each other bites of cake does my nut

I detest tv adverts. Very few are genuinely clever or amusing. Take for example car adverts. What a load of crap - apart from the recent honda accord one. For those of you who dont know what I'm talking about, you can find "the cog" ad here. multimedia.honda-eu.com/accord/It really is impressive - no trickery involved here might I ad. Click on the cog when it loads up. Then click on "the most precise two minutes you will ever see", select a screen size and enjoy.

no trickery involved here might I ad. don't you believe it. If it is all shot in one continuous, organic (ie. nothing added) take, I'd like to know why it looks so digitally enhanced. Or am I just afflicted with the blindness of cynicsm?

Any ad for Toyota is extremely annoying. Watch out for them each summer.
All the good ads seem to get taken off instantly.

Another one that really gets on my breasts is the one for "ocean finance" in which they pretend its a gameshow and the answer to every question is "ocean finance!" ARGH!!!!

Also, McDonalds ads are going straight down the shitter. I can't stand the noise they make.

I generally find adverts boring unless i have an interest in the product or programme being advertised or if the advert is funny.

hehe yeah we have them too, the worst one ive saw for mcdonalds is where the alarm goes off in the store and all the staff run to wash their hands. then they talk about how hygenic mcdonalds is.
Funnily enough ive been in a store when the alarm went off, and they just switched it off. i saw one guy go to the sink and rinse his hands in water for 2 secs. no soap or nothing.
