I was just thinking right now of how much I enjoy this place. It's really been a lot of fun to join the community and learn about the SMS, as well as see this place jump from a rarely looked at site to an absolute swarm of insanity. I remember when I first started and there was maybe a post every day, if that, now there's like 203958023468934 a day. I love it, need more to live.

Man, you just can't comprehend how much I agree with you at this present moment ;D
It's some real feel-good weird shit going on - can't explain. I feel protective of it.
I've been here such a short time, and yet I feel like I've been here for years. It gives me a bit of a lift when sometimes I need it.
Maybe I won't always be able to post here so regularly, but I like the idea of keeping it together, to come back to the same place and people in 10+ years time - is that a bit pathetic?

I also agree ;D
I like this Forum, cause the people here are so kind and the atmosphere is great, not like in othere forums where the users hate everyone or they spam all the time.

I hope to be one of the 80-year-olds that still use this site in the future. That would be awesome, known as that guy that's been here forever and has 304,675 posts.

Am I right in thinking that the First Anniversary of this forum is fast approaching?
It deserves to be celebrated alongside the 4th phase of the main site - it seems to have had a strong influence on the main site itself over this time.
I'd like to see it given a nice sweep in time for it's birthday - all the pointless posts with few or no replies clogging up the back could be set adrift, to make more room if nothing else.
I also liked someone's idea of using the game-boxes logo at the top as a link back to the main site.
And perhaps we could kill the unpopular and/or inadequate members, and eat them, as a rite.

Only the first? I thought it was here longer than that. Yeah, where's that "moderator" gone to? He doesn't seem to be doing anything. Go delete some crap.

Hey guys - i totally agree, this place is wicked, and i know what you mean about it growing stan - first time i posted a message, i waited 2 days for a reply, now theyre coming all the time.
Another thing i noticed, i dont know if you guys have - but whenever we announce our game of the week, over the next few days/weeks, the prices of those games go up on ebay. Thats power!!

Yeah this place is good, I haven't been a member to long, but one thing that really stood out was no "noob" bashing. Most forums have a bunch of asses who think that they are the sh!t, not this place. Also it's full of awesome people who like the awesome SMS, and that is pretty awesome.

I don't know if it can get any more awesome. I didn't know about the prices jumping, that's interesting. I wonder why. I mean, other than Golden Axe Warrior and Smurfs 2 (which has not appeared on eBay since then), we haven't really reviewed anything THAT rare.

Yea I know, I guess people must just check out the forum, and want to join in game of the week, so theres more people trying to buy the games.
I suppose any game of the week we choose is a guaranteed good game to purchase for rookies. I know when i first got my sega I used to take hints from everyone here on what games to get next...

Only the first? I thought it was here longer than that Before, there was a message board for the main site's community (which has been going for around four years), but it was replaced by this forum a year ago. Craig, I reckon you're just making that up about the games reaching higher prices - but it's good propaganda ;D
