'Lo! I'm Euc... Just got an SMS on eBay after years without. Had one as a kid and still had a few games. Working on building a collection. Mostly just want it to play and am planning on doing mods to make playing easier (A/V out and Pause Button)... so interested in both collecting and modifying.
My collection strictly SMS consists of thus far,
SMS Power Base + 3 standard controllers
1 Light Gun
Games (All CIB, except '*' in generic):
Carts:
Action Fighter
After Burner
Alf
Alien Syndrome
Black Belt
Casino Games*
Choplifter
Gangster Town
Ghostbusters x2
Great Golf
Hang On/Astro Warrior
Out Run
Parlour Games
Rampage
Rescue Mission
Shooting Gallery
Space Harrier
Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
Zillion II: Triformation
Cards:
My Hero
Transbot
Teddy Boy
I'm also interested in the sound generation capabilities of the SMS. I know very little about coding ROMS, but have experience with circuit bending and hardware mods to an extent. Would be interested in pursuing a SMS project similair to what Paul Slocumqotile.net/ has done with the Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 Synth Carts eventually. I have been messing around with the Mod2PSG2 tracker/SN76489 chip emulator a bit but haven't found any info on other uses of the SMS in producing original music.
Look forward to building and customizing my collection, and happy to have an SMS again after all these years, yet alone find you guys and the SMS Power! community.
