Since I've given up on the competiton, I don't need this anymore: 50/60hz switch on the front, you can flick between Pal and NTSC at any time. Most of the games play better in NTSC - 20% faster gameplay and sound than PAL, which is how the games were meant to be. Playing in 60hz also removes the big borders at the top and bottom of the screen. Anyone who plays sms frequently really should have a console that plays in both 50 and 60hz Some AV composite connectors added to the back, aswell as the standard RF and RGB Scart connectors. Has Japanese BIOS installed, so plays Japanese card games aswell as all the regular western carts and cards. Also has a cool Space Harrier screen and song when no game is inserted: Got leads, pads and whatever too if they are needed.

Yeah I can mod a smsII with a 60hz switch, could add composite ports too - although I haven't tried that myself yet. I think its better to use a SMS1, since you get the card slot for card and 3D games.

Its an SG1000 game, i.e Sega first console which they later developed into the Master System, this console is modded to play all the Sega card games. Japanese card games won't play on a regular Euro console. I did send you a PM about it, but you hadn't replied so I presumed you wern't interested.

Oh yeah about the shipping, I forgot all about that one. Still im curious about the actuall price. And im in love btw, I didnt know you could play SG1000 games on a SMS. Even if modding had to be involved. Im going to check the SG1000 card library out right away And no, I dont need the power adaptor. I got lots of spares.

If I send you a spare console, can you mod it with those features?

The problem with that is you'll end up paying postage twice, once to get it to me and then for me to send it back, and posting from and to Puerto RIco isn't likely to be cheap. If I get my hands on another MK1 console I shall mod it too and post again on the forum about it.

Its not much fun getting the original bios chip out, their soldered in on both sides, its more time consuming than difficult as long as your not inept with a soldering iron The 60hz mod is a great mod to have too, it improves most games, and some benefit greatly from it as 50hz causes them to slowdown significantly. And even if the full speed graphics and sound don't tempt you, loosing the borders from the top and bottom of the screen is worth doing it for alone
