I wonder why Sega never released a Compilations disc of Master System Games on Systms like the PS2, Xbox or even the Gamecube & Saturn
Not even on Sonic Mega Collection or SMC+ has the SMS Sonic Games only the GG Games..

Because Sega usually likes to pretend SMS doesn't exist, probably because it wasn't very succesful in the US or Japan. Take Sonic Jam on Saturn for example, it has a museum section where all the games are shown, every GG release is there, but no sign of any sms games. Using the GG versions of games on the Sonic Collections for modern consoles is a crazy extension of that, as they look far worse scaled up on a big TV than the sms ones do.

On my Sonic Jam they have the SMS Sonics but call them "Latin American versions" or something which implies that they are just different boxrs of Mega Drive games. Although I love the SMS Sonics I have to say the Mega Drive Sonics have something about them which makes them more lovable. Indeed one of my favourite all time games is Sonic 3 + Knuckles added on.

For me the original SMS Sonic the Hedgehog is still the best, I prefer it to the MD version.
