Completely fed up with eBay resellers and con artists. If anyone is looking to sell a large number of SMS games then please get in touch with me. They don't have to be super rare I'm just trying to collect a little quicker.
Thanks.

Just watched your latest YouTube and I know exactly what you mean mate. The sellers out there are total nightmares now. Facebook is wasteland when it comes to retrogaming, inhabited only by mad-max style bandits that are just out to rob people.
I contacted a guy at one point about Zool, he wanted something like 50 quid, and even though I politely told him it wasn't worth that, and he wouldn't even tell me if it had a manual or not. Everybody is a bloody expert these days because they look up some dumb price charting site that doesn't even have proper listings for stuff outside USA.
Hopefully some of the guys here have plenty of spares and will be able to do you a good deal. If theres any specific ones you're looking for might be worth calling them out separate.

Yeah had a bit of a nightmare yesterday to be honest and got pretty downhearted with it. But today is a new day so onward and upward.

Just out of interest, would you mind telling what was the shop was so people can be warned to stay away from it?
It's interesting to see places still have SMS supplies around the country, but everyone seems to assume that old games automatically mean big money.

I just watched the YouTube vid and can honestly say who travels over an hour without a price? I wouldn't even travel down the road without a price, but maybe that's my southerner side coming out haha. Maybe I'm getting skeptical in my old age 😆 but sounds like you thought CHAAA-CHING and so did they.

Sounds like somewhere I went to a while back, won’t be the same place as it closed down about 6 months after this happened.
I was collecting a ps2 subset and I needed one game, cex had no stock online anywhere. I saw it in a local shop and it was at about cex price, so I asked if they could take it out the cabinet for me. Out of sight the guy removed the price ticket and quoted me a price £30 higher! I said very politely but firmly that not 30 seconds earlier it was marked up at £11, he basically called me a liar and proceeded to show me a sealed one on eBay at £40.
I nearly went full Willy Wonka “Good day to you sir. I said GOOD DAY”
Cex got a copy in soon after and I snapped it up. Even years later it isn’t a £40 game
Edit: just checked and this was early 2018, the game is still only a £15 game 😂

I wonder if any collector who has complained about current prices (Myself included) when the time comes to sell up, says to themselves "Mmm, current prices are too high so I'm going to sell them at 2002 prices"? I know that there's a lot of resellers out there trying to make money from the hobby but the same can be said of any hobby.

When I'm moaning about something, I try and see it from another point of view- to reason with myself ... only way I get any sense in my household 😆

It would be easy for me to blame them but I didn't really qualify it too well on the phone. Lesson learned now though. I'll be much more careful next time
