If anyones got an old psp lying around then why not turn it into a portable master system! Its really easy to do, i sorted my daughters psp out earlier with the full ROM set and she loves it! I used master boy which can also run megadrive, snes and gbc etc. Its a first generation psp so i permanently replaced the bios.

Funnily enough my PSP is a pink classic one that I picked up back in the day pretty much just to try out homebrew. Well that and God of War. Decent system, but I never really took to it.

I think I may have ended up using my DS with an R4/CycloDS card for SMS emulation. It really wasn't powerful enough for anything past 8 Bit, but the screen resolution was a one to one match to the SMS. Plus I found the library more compelling so I was more inclined to carry it around.

Off-topic, but I hate the analogue stick on the PSP which is the main reason I never liked the machine.
And on other annoying aspects, the weird way you have to turn it off properly and the fact that the battery can't hold it's load and will drain quite fast not in use.
The latter part is mostly annoying because I have been spoiled with the Nintendo handhelds that still work months later when not used.

The analogue stick on the PSP is awful and the battery, even when new, was pretty poor. Coming from the Game Boy/DS line it seemed so impractical. Mind you the original model Switch has a pretty short battery life though it those have a better suspend feature.
