I always see topics for the hardest games etc but never see any for the easiest ones. I was just wondering what peoples easiest games were. For me its dynamite dux. I can finish it in about 30 mins, still love playing it though

I think the most easy SMS games are: Incredible Crash Dummies Taz-Mania Enduro Racer
Probably the easiest is Enduro Racer, done in 6-7 mins...

I reckon Enduro Racer might seem easy once you've learned the control techniques and memorized the tracks, but I don't think it's easy in the sense that most people will beat it in the first few times they play it. As an aside... Enduro Racer would be great to update as an endless runner, or at least have procedurally generated tracks.
I thought Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars was pretty easy... IIRC, it has limitless continues.

Special Criminal Investigation is over in a few minutes and doesn't even require you to brake (though there's one corner on the last stage where you have to ease off the throttle).
Taz Mania is also very easy. The only "tough" part comes in the form of a few cheap leap of faith deaths... but the game hands you enough lives to get through on trial and error.
Sonic Chaos. Insultingly easy.

About Enduro Racer, I don't think you need to memorize the tracks and be that accurate on jumps if you just want to complete the game. There's enough time on each stage if you buy something "useful" (e.g. Accelerator instead of Tire) on Tune-Up screen. I think the technique is important only when you're looking for best time.
I haven't really played Special Criminal Investigation, I must give it a try...

Double dragon is easy as is both of the streets of rage games.
Sonic 1 can be easy once you have learnt the game or read a guide.
If you have the time road rash is easy too

great responses fellas its been years since i played enduro racer, i cant really remember how long it took me to complete back in the day but the thought of doing it in under 10 mins sounds good. being a working father of 2 kids time is very restricted so anymore short games are really welcome lol

Some good mentions there, I agree with them all so far. Terminator is a very easy game, 10 minutes start to finish, good fun too. TBH I find a lot the games on the system simple enough once you know what you're doing on them

Virtua Fighter Animation is insultingly easy. All you have to do is press right on the D-Pad, press Button 2, enemy goes down, when he does up, kick him again. Repeat until he's done. Do that to all opponents and you're through the game in a couple minutes.
Alex Kidd in Shinobi World is also easy, about as easy as Lost Stars.
I also found Asterix to be always easy, the only level that ever gave me problems is the self-scrolling stage (i think Level 3) when you use Asterix. With Obelix it's easier (and i HATE self-scrolling levels)

I think a good measure of how easy a game is if I was able to beat it when I was a kid.
On that criteria, the few games that come to mind are Kung Fu Kid, Mercs, and E-Swat.

Had seen on youtube, finalizing the Kenseiden in 6 minutes !!!! I was amazed by that as well. But a speedrun is not necessarily the same thing as an easy game. Most people wouldn't know how to get through Kenseiden quickly at first.

You're right ... Seeing the video looks easy. I won this game when present as a child and could only get to the end as an adult !! I was amazed and disappointed by staying so long trying to reach the final boss and know that you could use shortcuts to face him and kill him in six minutes ...
