Hey guys!
I would like to play a new tennis game. My favourite games are Wimbledon II on the Master System and Jimmy Connors Pro Tennis Tour on the SNES. Now I am looking for a good tennis game for the Mega Drive! Good sound effects and gameplay are important for me - Which of the many tennis games for the MD would you recommend?
Thanks in advance!

I liked Wimbledon on the Mega Drive. Lots of gameplay options. I haven't played it for about 18 years though.

Pete Sampras Tennis is really great. I prefer the original version over the 96 sequel, somehow i don't like the controls there. Davis Cup World Tour is also pretty good, though the low camera angle makes it a bit harder to play.

I haven't played it in ages, but I really liked ATP Tour Tennis "back in the day".

I decided to go with ATP Tour. There was an auction that started at 1€. I put my highest bid of 8,51€ for it. A few minutes before the auction ended, the seller used a second account, tried a few bids and outbid me with 9€. He won his own game, so he made me an offer of 8,51€.. I would have been won the game for 1€, so I didn´t accepted the offer from this idiot I will wait for another chance now. The game isn´t uncommon or expensive.

I had the same problem with a few auctions recently, it's really annoying. Unfortunately I see many people keep bidding against zero-feedback bidders without realising it.

The cheapest BIN for a CIB copy over here is 23€, unacceptable. I am pretty sure that it can be found for a fiver somewhere. If you take a look at Playblackpool, it would be nice EDIT: I don´t import things from the USA anymore, because the import charges suck. Exceptions would be special items only. EDIT 2: I just discovered a sealed copy of the game for 25€, would you say it´s worth it?

The condition isn´t great, there are some marks of usage on the top: Not sure if it´s worth the money.

I can get a sealed one $15 with free shipping to me. I expect shipping to Germany to be about $12-$15. Will help if needed.
Edit: I don't know if genesis/mega drive have lock out issues... Cover art is different.

Cover art is different. Thanks for your offer! I think it´s region locked, because it was released in 1994/1995. Plus, the import charges are hard to estimate. Something has changed this year and I still don´t understand what and why.

At what point along the line do the import fees get charged? If a "gift" is sent to you from the U.S., do you pay import fees? Just curious... I realize the lock out issue makes import charges a pointless discussion.

Once again, I'll admit to being a newbie... Do all genesis/mega drive games/systems have some form of regional lock out? What about the Retron consoles? Thanks.
