It wasn't even reality TV but rather a lifestyle/documentary type show. I would never watch reality TV because it's the worst and laziest type of television you can possibly make. Watching that crap is pathetic Thanks, yes it is. That´s why I do not look much TV since years. I watched that report myself (it´s long ago) but I remember that it made me angry.

I don't think I ever saw something about video games on TV that wasn't messed up lol. PS: Funny stuff happened. I said I never saw any activity on Smurfs 2 here in Germany ever and boom. Not even two hours ago a complete copy got listed on eBay.de. I'm currently the highest bidder at 51€ but I doubt that I'm going to win it

It depends from the amount you want to bid dude. To get a Smurfs 2 is a risky task, don´t be too greedy for it because your purse will be empty for the rest of the month (unless you´re a millionaire) xD EDIT: I´ve just seen the auction - Be careful!

Oh man Giga Games those were the days sitting there in front of the TV from 22:00 to 24:00 before going to sleep watching some competitive Unreal Tournament or reviews for original XBox and PS2 games. So much awesome . I was really sad when they went off air. If I happen to win it my wallet will indeed be empty for the rest of the month but again I doubt I'll win it. Also I am always careful when buying on eBay especially if I'm thinking about dropping some serious money. Feedback could be higher of course but it's 100% positive on 13 feedback given and I think they were all during the last two months and all as the seller selling some high end stuff. I'll probably ask for one or two more pics that have his username on a paper next to the games just to be confident

Anyway good luck, I´m not interested in them. I don´t pay hundreds of €´s, even Masters of Combat and Power Strike II are the last PAL games on my list (my Smurfs 2 is a cartmodd and yes I am happy with it^^).

In early April there was a small Retrobörse here in Berlin and somebody who was looking at the Master System games right in front of me found a copy of Power Strike 2: 12€. I was pissed that I didn't got it . Especially because now that I'm slowly finishing off my N64 set I'm trying to get some of the uncommon and rare Master System titles because that's the next system I'll try to conquer . Usually I don't spend a lot of money on a single game either. The most I ever spent was 80€ and it was the first time ever I saw that game for sale. We'll see how far I'll end up going for some of the Master System rares. I won't be getting this Smurfs 2 probably because if I was to get it I literally would have just enough money left for the month to pay for food lol. Maybe Masters of Combat if I'm lucky but I doubt it

I would be pissed too lol ... Sometimes it´s worth to pay a lot. But it must be one of the few exceptions in games collecting. I spent a lot too for SMS games in the past (60 for example) but I also paid only 3 for most of them. I am happy to own most of the games now because today, I wouldn´t try to get a full PAL set anymore (it´s much more expensive than 4 years ago).

Did you hear him buying it for 12? You could have jumped in and told the seller that you would give him 20 for it or something. Would be kind of a douchebag move but hey, it's all fair and game

I could list every single game in my collection I paid more than 30€ for lol. Wish I would have started collecting a little earlier but hey it's fun still Did you hear him buying it for 12? You could have jumped in and told the seller that you would give him 20 for it or something. Would be kind of a douchebag move but hey, it's all fair and game Actually it was quite a funny situation. He was there going through the Master System games not picking out any of them except for two or three but he put them right back. Then he pulled out Power Strike 2 and I couldn't believe my eyes and was just begging for him to put the game back but he didn't . I went on asking him what the price tag said and he showed it to me. Both of us knowing what the game's worth we just grinned at each other. He then went on buying it for 12€. I was able to find a pretty rare N64 title before for only 10€ so I had my find that day. Offering the seller more right in front of that other guys face would have been a huge dickmove. I wouldn't have been able to sleep that night. Also the seller probably would've double-checked the price anyways and the other guy would've lost out on an amazing deal. Not to mention he was very nice

This is going to be an expensive journey for me I suppose you don't collect SNES games... (neither do I) I think SMS fans must be glad that there aren't many expensive titles. Most games are "easy/cheap" to get compared to some other consoles. Prices have definitely raised last years but we're still away from that Nintendo insanity...

Prices have definitely raised last years but we're still away from that Nintendo insanity... I actually collect for pretty much all the systems I just focus on two or three at a time and only get games for other systems if it's a really good deal or if it's a game I really want. I already have 178 SNES games over half of which are boxed. Trust me I am well aware of how ridiculously expensive SNES is. That's why I don't focus on that . Same pretty much goes for NES as well. I do have some semi-rare titles for both systems but I can guarantee you that I paid next to nothing for most of them . Not going to pay hundreds for lose SNES carts or over a thousand for boxed ones.
