A redo of Sonic The Hedgehog, cause i'm sure with todays technology, we can make him go Genesis / Mega Drive fast.

wonder boy! another wonder boy would be awesome! (as long as its 2D). Old school platform games are awesome! The kind that scroll from side to side in 2D with jumping on ledges etc. The new kind of first person 3D playstation and xbox games suck. Long live old school 8bit technology! It would be so awesome if someone would make more games, using the same sega 8bit technology from the master system era, maximizing the 8bit technology, with graphics like the later master system releases. That would be truly awesome. It's unlikely, but if this were to happen, it would be phenomenal.

I love this kind of topics and dream I think it is possible. But pityfull could it be take too much work. Im dreaming with acomplish something like that some day... Martin from the sms power forums did it for the gamegear with their great game GG Turrican! (amazing...). I know, the GameGear is not the sega master system but it is almost the same thing, almost same hardware...amazing again!...

A shmup. More Power Strike/Aleste stuff would be much welcome, especially as they're more traditional games than the turbo-nutter manic stuff that's all over the place these days. Post-mortem shmups have been done on the Dreamcast, so I don't see why someone can't do an 8-bit one!

I say a side-scrolling Contra-style shooter. We need one of those.

smsmaniac, you're a man of my ilk! Side scrollers and especially Wonderboy are awesome!!
Although I do thorougly rate the joy of Bubble Bobble. Clean up the graphics, reduce the glitches from too many bubbles on the screen and I'd be stoked.

I say a side-scrolling Contra-style shooter. We need one of those. Oooft yeah. Robocop vs The Terminator was as close as it came for SMS in the run & gun department - not that I want a cut-down Metal Slug, but something along the lines of the early Contra would be seriously awesome. Gunstar Heroes got a Game Gear release right? So it's gotta be viable for SMS.

Another RPG, action or turn-based, would be right up my alley. Of course the other suggestions I'd certainly relish too. We definitely did need more Contra-style shooters!

Any kind of game involving two players simultaneously! The SMS doesn't have enough 2 players games... Streets Of Rage 3 for two people would be awesome!
Oh, and the unpublished version of Lemmings 2, but with much more than 8 lemmings per level! 20 at least, please! And a port of The Incredible Machine! Dreaming is free! =)

I'd like to see a true sequel to Zillion and a tactical RPG like Shining Force or Fire Emblem.

Surely there's only one answer to this? Golvellius 2. Still not sure if the MSX version is G2 or not... but either way it's kind of hard to work out what's going on when you don't read Japanese.
