I feel a bit torn with this question.. As I love quite a few games. But the most irreplaceable game in my collection, that I also love to play, is Putt & Putter. Besides loving the actual game, the one in my collection is the one I rented from 'Astra Video' back in the day. I rented it LOTS, maybe 10 times, lol. When they got newer software in I bought it from them and thankfully I kept all the original rental stickers in place which adds to the nostalgic feel of it.

There are four games that have an effect on me like that and they are Hang-On,Ghost House,World Grand Prix and Outrun, alas I only have Hang-On out of those four in my collection at the moment but it is the 'card' format.

And another thread resurrection, as many newer members might like to contribute their thoughts? This thread was started through my Christmas memories from the last days of my childhood.

The one game i would never sell is wonderboy in monsterland. It was Christmas morning at my cousins house that I first saw it and I was immediately hooked.. 12 months later I got my very own sega master system in what was probably 1989.
Great memories of playing it all christmas, what i wouldnt give to live that day one more time.

Sonic the Hedgehog for me as it was the first game I played on my very own sms2 on Christmas Day of 1992 after a year of playing on my mates and pestering my mum for one, lol. After 8 years of playing games on the Amstrad cpc464, the graphics / gameplay just blew my mind!

Ohh again a very hard question . I have no specific experience like that to associate to a game, but I still remember clearly my first 3 games in box ( sonic, asterix and Shinobi ) I probably most excited by Shinobi , even I still not have complete it yet. The other two games , have I played a lot more. But the excitement when I unpack it and play it home in my parents living room, still standing clearly

Boy, one game is a tough one. I would have to go with my all time favorite. It's not only a highly regarded game, but a very nostalgic one as well..... Ghouls'N Ghosts for Genesis/Mega Drive. It was the first time I truly thought as a kid that the arcade came home. The graphics, the theme, the music....it was all fantastic. I remember looking at the Vidpro card over and over before I took my purchase ticket to the counter at Toys R Us. As far as SMS goes, I'd have to say Wonder Boy in Monster Land. So much time spent with that game and tons of fun.
