and the swap is closed right, I havent had Brian's address or wishlist so in the interest of everyone recieving in time I cant keep him in unfortunatly. Gordman, Centrale and Soera, check your inboxes soon, I will let you know who you are sending to. Posting deadline is 23rd of November, please post on here to state when you have sent and also when you have recieved (I think it will be obvious when your secret santa present arrives)

Good luck with it guys. I'm a little bummed not to be taking part but as I've mentioned postage costs from here in Australia to any of you guys kind of counts me out.
Glad it's gone ahead though, even if it's a smaller group than it's been in the past. It's a great little sega8bit tradition!

It's a great little sega8bit tradition! i have heard about the legendary pricing structure of the australian postal service, legendary and not in a good way lol. i love secret santa's mainly as i have put some nice rarities (in uk terms) on my list that are common in other parts of the world, the tradition would never die if I had anything to do with it, I for one wouldnt recieve master system stuff any other way (my family and in laws are clueless about my obsession with old computers) and I would put money on most of the rest of us being in the same position.

The budget is too low. Maybe we set a budget limit of 30-35 for next year. The Out Run 3-D I sold a few weeks ago went to Australia, so I know about the shipping costs.. ..knockout lol

Question: We have to write our adresses down on the packages. Is it ok if the recipient knows his santa before christmas? It would be funnier if nobody knows his santa before christmas but because of the adress on the package, it´s impossible. It´s probably not a good idea to not write the own adress down..

I think a return address is required especially if (like mine) is going to be out of country shipping. Im not too concerned on knowing who my early Santa is .

I think sender addresses are essential for international shipping, mine will be labelled up, the surprise is the gift more than the sender

Okay, thanks guys. Yes I think it´s required to write the own adress on the package. But it makes it a lot harder to not open it before christmas if you know who your santa is, especially for a freaky video gamer like me But I do it and I will NOT open it before december 24
