great video man. I loved the layout where you had the commentary, the game image and the gameplay all showing at the same time. What video mixing program did you use for that? Also, the gameplay was great. I might have to give this game a go again now that I know the tree trick. lol
Currently playing: Guild Wars 2
SMS Currently playing: Galaxy Force GRAPHICS THAT WILL KILL YOU
Is the gameplay video out of sync with the sound near the end, or was it just me?
Anyway, entertaining and interesting and makes me actually want to play this terrible game
I guess you might have trouble when it's a deathly long game that you aren't playing through so easily - or are you going to edit those down to the interesting bits? Or are you just going to master all the games..?
Thanks for all the good comments, encourages me to keep on going although I will admit the game I'm playing now is starting to send me ever so slightly mad ;D

I use Sony Vegas HD, but to be honest just about any half decent editing software has the ability to add and resize overlays . I wouldn't recommend using the tree trick if you're anywhere near a half decent gamer, I completed the game faster than it took for the tree trick to hand out the extra lives

Yeah it was ever so slightly out, I know what the problem was (Gameplay was shot in PAL, Commentary was shot in NTSC so the framerates were slightly different) but I was too far in to the whole editing process by the time I'd noticed the problem to even think about starting again from scratch! It has been fixed now ready for Episode 2
I'm planning on mastering all the games pretty much, but if I somehow just manage to fluke my way through them then so be it ! When it comes to the longer games, or games that I'm struggling with and dying loads I'll just edit out the boring/repetitive bits and show the main gameplay and cool/funny parts - I don't want the episodes to go on too long - but I was thinking of maybe uploading full playthroughs of each game to compliment the series, that way if anyone really wanted to see a certain part that I had missed they would be able to .
Example: The first episode I chose a game that I like, that was the right length to fill an episode and that I'm good at = perfect length episode even with full gameplay and all extras. The second episode, I have chosen a game I had never played before, suck ass at big time and have died 40 plus times on already at a total of around 1 hour 30 mins of gameplay so far - and I'm nowhere near finishing it! That gameplay so far will probably be edited down into about 7-8 mins of footage, but nothing important will be missed, and the fact I have lost so many lives and suck at the game will be made very clear .
Tried asking this on retro collect. Are you going to do both routes on Batman Returns, as there very different. And will you only consider a Pac Man game complete, once you have gotten to level 100?

Sorry mate must've missed that! And to answer your question...
...I don't know lol! My aim is to play each game until it either shows an end screen or loops, if a game loops endlessly then I have to call it a day somewhere, can't just play it forever. I suppose it will depend how much I like the games when I play them TBH, if i hate them then I'll be playing for the least time possible to get to the ending, if I love them I'll play the hell out of them
Just a heads up, I'm not a huge fan of Pac Man - but I've never played the SMS versions so you never know lol!

That''s excellent, if you haven't completed it already I can't recommend Sagaia highly enough, its really beautiful and each level has a distinct feel to it.
Misses Putt and Putter a little too much some days.
I really enjoyed the video, it was nicely done. I like the splitscreen, seeing you talking and you're facial expression while gaming, i think it adds a lot to the video as one can see if you enjoy or despise a game (i wonder how you will look while playing ALF ;D )
Just watched the video and would like to add a big thumbs up. Im one of those people who never really rated the ninja due to finding it so tough but im gonna give it another shot after seeing a true master, dare i say ninja master at work ;D
Id also like to agree with the others who have stated how they like the layout of the video especially being able to see the expressions on your face as you play.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words, I really appreciate it and it makes it all worth while to hear that the community that inspired me to make these videos enjoys them .
Episode 2 is in the final stages of editing now, but I won't be able to upload it until my internet is fixed (knackered modem), which had better be early next week of my provider will be in for a lot of angry phonecalls ;D.
