I'm hoping that drrotule's gift arrives soon. I sent it on November 27th, so I hope it didn't get lost in the mail somehow... Just noticed he's in France, their mailing system is one of the worst in the world (no offence intended to any French people). It's not unusual for things to take 3 months to arrive, or get lost/stolen by postal workers. I never send or receive items from there for this reason, and you will notice that nearly all international retailers will either refuse to ship to France or demand EMS if they do. Italy is very much the same. I did n t have my gifts and I think I will never have it. I am now collectors for many years, I received hundreds and hundreds items and I didn t have any trouble with the mailing service even if for shipment from distant countries (USA, australia mainly) games sent with the lowest fees possible can take 3 months to reach our country. Nevertheless since the last few months and for the first time, I had some troubles. Most of my games never find their way. I don t know if the mailing service is guilty or if someone steal my items when I'm not here... I would like to thank my santa zavvias, I m sure he sent me the games and as we used to say in France, it's the intention that matters rather than the gift itself.

I feel horrible that the package hasn't made it there. If there is anything I can do to rectify the situation, let me know. Really sucks that this happened. I even tried to send it out early in November, so it should have made it there by Christmas for sure. I shipped a game to Italy and it made it there in a couple weeks, so there should be no reason a package couldn't have made it to France in time. I'm going to call Canada Post tomorrow to see if I can get a refund on the postage costs and the insured amount for a lost package, and then I'll send you a PM to let you know if we can work something out.

I talked with Canada Post today and they have a case open to investigate to see if they can find the package, which will take anywhere from 2 weeks to up to 2 months, at which point I might receive the insured amount back, so we'll see what happens. Hopefully this is a case of it just sitting at the post office for some reason, but who knows. Either way, I'll be try to make it right.

LOOK WHAT CAME IN MY POST BOX TODAY!!!!! My Secret Santa package for ddtrotule!! I'm not sure what to think of this or what happened, so maybe you guys can shed some light on this! I'm just glad that it didn't get snagged by whomever is stealing his packages! Not sure what NPAI means, but it is different than the label in the first pic. It was obviously cut open and released by France customs and then retaped. Well, at least they retaped one of the two sides they opened. I'm going to open up the package tonight and take a look to see if everything is still in there. Not sure if they opened everything, but the individual items don't look like they are wrapped properly anymore in the wrapping paper under the bubble wrap, so I am assuming they cracked everything open.... Big apologies to ddrotule and at least now we can figure out how to make this right.

N'habite pas à l'address indiqué. or Doesn't live at the indicated address.
Very good news nonetheless! I'm sure if you send it tracked this time or something that it will make it to the right destination. Maybe we can all chip in a buck for the next shipping? Should help for the second P&P.

omg! my secret santa is not lost!!!
there are some indications on the package that are meaningless. At the same time, it is written that I don't live at the shipping adress (we carrefully checked and the adress is good) and also that I didn t come to the post office to get my package...

Not sure how it works in France, but when the post office can't deliver a parcel here they leave a collection slip that you have to bring to the post office (with ID) in order to collect the parcel. If somebody stole the slip then the package would be returned to the sender eventually.

But when the postman is a beginner, he sometimes forgot to put the slip in the mailbox...

I'm not really sure what you want me to do now. I could just send you some money on paypal or something just so you get something. Or I could attempt to send the games again, but they aren't really rare games or anything, so I don't know if it would even be worth spending another 25 dollars on shipping. Send me a PM and we'll work something out.
